Tara Estates Senior Mobile Home Park Introduce
For California residents seeking a tranquil, secure, and amenity-rich environment in the heart of the Central Valley, the **Tara Estates Senior Mobile Home Park** in Hanford, CA, presents an exceptional option for 55+ living. This community is a dedicated senior mobile home park, providing a specialized residential setting for active adults looking for an affordable path to homeownership without compromising on lifestyle or comfort. It operates on the model where residents own their home and lease the land lot, which often results in lower monthly expenses compared to traditional stick-built housing in California.
Tara Estates is consistently described by residents as a **"really a pretty senior mobile home park,"** where the focus is firmly on peace, beauty, and community connection. The neighborhood is designed to promote a relaxed lifestyle, featuring a host of unique and well-maintained natural and recreational amenities. It is a community where neighbors are known to greet each other with smiles, take evening walks, and share friendly chats, fostering a genuine sense of camaraderie and belonging—a highly sought-after quality in a senior living environment.
Crucially, the community is built for **safety and security**. The design incorporates a single entrance and exit, preventing cross-traffic and unauthorized access, which a resident noted ensures "no cross traffic or people ever wandering around who don’t belong here." This feature, combined with the general atmosphere, makes it **"quiet and it’s safe and perfect for the over 55 community"** that it serves. While the park is noted for its beauty and wonderful amenities, prospective residents should be aware that, as with many communities governed by strict rules, there have been historical reports of managerial issues regarding enforcement style, suggesting a need for direct communication and clear understanding of community rules prior to moving in.
The area provides excellent access to nearby amenities, including grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants, making errands a breeze. The park is also strategically located with reasonable driving access to major highways, simplifying travel for residents who wish to commute or explore the wider Southern and Central California region.
In line with the needs of a 55+ community, Tara Estates prioritizes physical accessibility, ensuring that the environment is comfortable and navigable for all residents. The provided accessibility features include:

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is really a pretty senior mobile home park. There’s a community barbecue and shaded picnic area with huge, beautiful Mulberry shade trees and a lot of pretty green grass surrounding a peaceful pond with a waterfall in the center of it. There are a large amount of turtle families you can see swimming in the pond and basking on the rocks surrounding it. Also, families of big white ducks and large geese live in it. It’s really fun to watch the ducklings who are born every spring, and in the early evenings, the geese fly north and their huge, beautiful wings and striking, honking sounds are a joy to watch and listen to. One of the things I like best about it is that there is one entrance and the same for the exit, with the mobile homes surrounding the pond and the homes, so there is no cross traffic or people ever wandering around who don’t belong here. It’s quiet and it’s safe and perfect for the over 55 community that it houses. There is a small clubhouse and a swimming pool and an outdoor Jacuzzi. I’ve lived here for over three years and I’ve been very happy here. In nice weather, in the evenings the neighbors go for walks or rides on their bicycles and everyone smiles and says hello, and often stop for a chat if you give them a smile, which I always do. 😊
December 12 · Cianne McGinnisI wish there is a rate like a negative on this place. I love my unit, but the manager needs to learn about manners. He is very rude, condescending, and Gestapo-like in his actions on July 7, 2015.To give a background, there was a notice given to us there will be pavement construction to be done on the July 6-8 and just to summarize, no vehicle should be driven on the property (except for emergencies) between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.On July 7, 2015 I took my husband for surgery and was discharged at 10:15 a.m. As an emergency being the case, I asked permission for the construction workers to drive my husband home, and they did give their permission. This was in compliance to the manager’s note, we can use the driveway for emergency. I consider drugged with anesthesia and still recovering from surgery an emergency, and asked permission from workers as being compliant in driving my husband to my doorstep. And so I did.Right after I got home, there was a call from Doug. I am still negotiating stairs with my husband groggy from surgery. I was fixing my husband when there is very loud banging on my door. It was Doug at my carport, angrily demanding why we have driven our car to the carport, as this is a grave infraction from his note. I did not like his Gestapo-like attitude of him but I reasoned out: “My husband just had surgery." We were in the same voice level, but that is the full explanation of what he was demanding in a shouting voice, for what he feels is a grave infraction. He responded in a loud voice, “Well, if he had surgery, use a wheelchair like everybody else around here, don’t use your car." I responded in the same level of his tone, “I do not have a wheelchair.” He pointed a very angry finger at me and shouted, “You SHUT-UP, you are not to shout at me. I AM the manager here. You WILL respect me. Now, I am letting you know now, your car is not to leave your car port after this. And the next time, use a wheelchair."His responses were all loud, angry, unsympathetic, and very condescending. He did not at any point of the conversation acknowledge to us that because this is indeed an emergency and what we did was within the confines of what was "right." as the note clearly states. He left in a huff, giving an attitude that we, the tenants have committed a grave crime against the compound, deserving of his verbal abuse. As he was leaving, still angry I could clearly hear him say, “There is always one, there is always that one."Next time I hear another VERY LOUD banging on my door, he better bring a sheriff with him and a search warrant in hand, otherwise he will be trespassing to my property and actions will be made that he will not be happy with.
July 08 · Fe SylvesterManagement is vicious, Lord help your survivors when you pass unless you leave a sizable estate so they can keep on paying the rent or have the trailer removed. If you have difficulty doing yard work and can't afford to have it done for you, find alternate living arrangements. Management is quit strict. You can't have rarely used vehicles or vehicles that are not in top condition or you will be harassed endlessly. You don't want to die while living there. Active management (at this time) is very unforgiving and will apply every charge he can, including leans against your estate. We've been called several times a day since my relative passed and threatened with legal action, even though we are not legally responsible for the estate and have told Mark, the current manager so. This is harassment.
