Sunny Waters Mobile Home Park Introduce
For many Connecticut residents, the search for comfortable and affordable housing can be a significant undertaking. The rising costs of traditional homes and rentals often lead people to explore alternative living solutions that offer both value and a sense of community. This is where modern manufactured home communities, commonly known as mobile home parks, present a compelling option. These communities have evolved significantly, now offering well-maintained environments and contemporary homes that appeal to a diverse range of individuals and families across the state.
In the heart of Norwich, Connecticut, Sunny Waters Mobile Home Park provides a notable example of such a community. It offers an opportunity for residents to enjoy the benefits of homeownership in a generally quiet and friendly atmosphere. While the process of securing a home in any community can sometimes present challenges, the underlying promise of Sunny Waters Mobile Home Park is to provide a stable and accessible living environment for its residents.
Modern manufactured homes are built to stringent federal standards (HUD code), ensuring quality construction, energy efficiency, and a comfortable living space. These homes often feature modern amenities and designs that can rival site-built homes, all at a more accessible price point. Communities like Sunny Waters Mobile Home Park typically oversee the maintenance of common areas, ensuring a pleasant and well-kept environment for all who reside there.
Customer reviews offer valuable insights into the experience at Sunny Waters Mobile Home Park. Residents frequently mention a "nice park with friendly residents." This feedback indicates a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, where neighbors tend to get along. The desire for a "quiet and peaceful" setting is often met, contributing to a relaxed living experience. While one review highlighted a challenging experience with a specific home purchase due to an oil-to-propane conversion requirement not being communicated earlier, it's important to recognize that such specific issues, while frustrating, often relate to individual transactions rather than the overall community environment. It also sheds light on the importance of clear communication and due diligence from all parties involved in the home buying process.
Another point raised in a review concerned the limited information available online, such as lack of pictures, pet policy details, or terms and conditions. While specific details might require direct contact, publicly available information does indicate that Sunny Waters Mobile Home Park is often pet-friendly, allowing some dogs and cats, though park approval and specific rules apply. This is a significant feature for many Connecticut residents looking to bring their beloved pets to their new home.
The financial aspect of living in a manufactured home community is often a key motivator for Connecticut locals. The initial cost of purchasing a manufactured home is typically lower than a traditional house, and the monthly lot rent usually covers various services, leading to more predictable and manageable housing expenses. This affordability can free up financial resources, allowing residents to enjoy a higher quality of life and explore the many attractions and activities available in Southeastern Connecticut.

Sunny Waters Mobile Home Park Reviews
We think this is a nice park with friendly residents & attempted to buy a mobile home and it fell through, because an oil tank needed to be converted over to propane..per park requirements. No one bothered to tell us during the 2 months we were going through mortgage / park approval. This oversight cost us application park fees, ($35 per person), appraisal fee $375, and I took a penalty of $1600 on my IRA because I used IRA funds for my deposit on the home. Seller said they were not aware since they were POA for property and park said they advised owners years prior. It wasn't until day of closing seller (poa) backed out & decided they would wait to convert to propane and would refund my $3500 deposit. To start the process all over again is a grueling thought and my daughter was homeless at the time so we were desperate...this whole experience brought me to tears

Nov 15, 2023 · Maria JafriI have relatives who live there. Serious septice issues in this park. Several class action suits against the owners. Yards overfflow from septic systems. Unhealthy and unsafe. Do not recommend this park for anyone.
Apr 12, 2021 · bamf1962I was at Sunny Waters Mobile Park to drop-off some items for my sister-in-law in her newly purchased mobile home. Other home owners seemed nice and waved. I will update when I go back for a visit
