★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This park is in a great location! You are within walking distance to Gardiner, a quaint little town, as well as the north entrance to Yellowstone. The sites are gravel, but level, the facilities, bathrooms, laundry, dog park and grounds are spotless. The view from this campground is incredible and there are elk that wander through daily, which is really cool. The staff are top notch! A big thank you to Gail, Bob and Tony who were so helpful and checked in through the week to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We booked a site for next year and are looking forward to coming back!
September 03 · Mary SchusterWe have been staying at the Sun Outdoors Yellowstone North since they opened in Gardiner, Mt. We have not used the rooms but we do use there RV grounds, which are clean and well maintained but what stands out are the folks that work there especially Bob and Gail. Gail is fantastic! She works in the office she is professional and fun. Bob maintains the grounds and is available if there are any question once you arrive at your camp site. Bob makes a point to make sure you are set up in your camp site correctly and to answer any questions. Both of them know the area well and can help with suggestions.
August 25 · Lynda SquireWe absolutely loved this campground! We stayed for four nights during our Yellowstone trip, and everything was excellent. The facilities are modern and spotless, the sites are spacious, and the location couldn’t be better—just five minutes from the park’s North Entrance. What really stood out to us, though, was the incredible hospitality of the staff. When we arrived, we had car trouble and needed to take it to a shop. Because of that, we required a late checkout, and they graciously allowed it without any extra charge. They even offered to drive us all the way to Livingston—an hour away—to pick up a rental car. Their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel like we were staying with family. We’re so glad we chose this place and had the chance to meet such wonderful people. We would absolutely recommend this campground to anyone visiting Yellowstone!
August 21 · Janina WeiglThe entire staff was outstanding. I stayed for a total of 5 weeks in parts of June, July, and August. Bob, Tony, and Gail were always around to escort me and other new guests to our sites. Everything was kept clean... restrooms/showers, laundry, dog parks, each site, dumpster area, etc. When I needed to extend or change my dates, Gail was super helpful. Bob always had advice for the best spots to visit in Yellowstone NP. Tony checked in with me periodically to make sure everything was going well with our stay. Everybody was very friendly and courteous and the location right near town and the North entrance can't be beat.
August 23 · Louis DickersonWonderful place to stay with our RV! Convenient to the Park, Super friendly staff, and there were lots of elk in the campground. Beware of walking small dogs in the early morning dark because we spotted a coyote between trailers. Shout out to Bob who spent time with us planning out our 3 days and giving us excellent information.
