★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We paid way too much for nothing. We rented a 2 bedroom cottage had to bring all our own linen. The beds were horrible I would have been better off on my air mattress. The stove top was falling apart so even in the rain we opted not to try to cook on it. Yes it rained prior to and the first day but we were in swamp lands even to try to sit around our cramped fireplace no pace to move around safely and no space for my 2 yr old to play at our site. There was tv but no batteries in the remote my husband went to buy some. There was no entertainment the entire weekend we were there. When I asked if there were any activities the employee sarcastically asked me if I wanted a job running kids activities . No I'm there on vacation I didn't want kids activities I wanted to entertainment for anybody .The pool and hot tub were nice but the no one under 18 rule is stupid. I could see not bother adults but there was no one there and it was only warm not hot my 15 and 2 yr old should have been able to come in it to warm up as it was chilly. We will not be staying at any sunoutdoors again.
May 27 · JenWe had an incredible time at the campground; it was just the getaway we needed. Conveniently located near fantastic attractions and just a short distance from the beach, this campground truly offers a perfect escape. The highlight for us was the wonderful amenities: a splash pad, a pool, and a soothing hot tub. I found the kids' mining station absolutely delightful, and the prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed searching for gems, while my nephew proudly collected arrowheads. Seeing the joy on the children's faces was priceless. The campground also offers bike rentals, making it easy to explore the campground. It caters to all your needs and even provides some delightful surprises you didn't know you'd want. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm, which we thoroughly appreciated. We stayed in a beautiful cabin that comfortably accommodated up to six people—just a tip: be sure to bring your own linens. The cabin provided an exceptional glamping experience, complete with air conditioning, heating, a propane stove, a lovely refrigerator, Wifi, and all the comforts of home.I wholeheartedly recommend this campground; it truly feels almost perfect. Definitely will be coming back again!!
August 26 · Kaylie ReidGreat centralized location with minimal drive to various activities. Have been coming to this site for years and staying in cabins, as camper life isn't convenient for everyone, which makes us continue to come here. Amenities on site are great when not feeling like adventuring. Crafts are always fun and the pool is meticulously cared for!! Absolutely plan on continuing our family tradition if they keep up the good work!!
June 19 · Marc PicheWhat an incredible campground! We will 100% be back next year and every year after. We stayed in a cottage. It came fully furnished with everything needed to cook and eat with. Clean bagged quilts and pillows were provided. The bathrooms were immaculately cleaned. The store on site was very affordable and the merry moose breakfast was DELICIOUS! $2.50 for a pancake the size of a paper plate. There is a trolly that takes you right from the campsite to the beach or boardwalk which was huge for convenience with us having kids and a large party. There are 1,2, and 4 person little bike rentals that the kids LOVED. My only complaint was the WiFi is awful so if you have to work or need access to it don’t depend on getting any service close by. The staff was phenomenal but I really want to point out Heather who checked us in and helped us through our stay in the store. She really took the extra effort to help when needed and you can tell she genuinely enjoys her job! Can’t wait for next year already.
July 06 · Jessica ReardonUpdate! After speaking with the manager about this, we greatly appreciate the attention it was given. Shawn was great and has assured us this was an isolated incident which they will be paying very close attention to remedy. We’ll be giving them another stay in the future!Dirty! Needs a change of their current “professional” cleaning crew. We paid $490 (🤢) to stay for only 2 night and this was our experience. Definitely a huge disappointment. They are very clearly sandbagging which is destroying your assets. We will not be staying in the cabins again. We have been here before and love this campground in our Camper. We recently sold it but our family still comes here yearly so we decided to rent the S71Studio Cabin this past weekend. We understand we didn’t get the cabin we initially booked because we got there late (oh well). The parking is quite tight not a big deal. We get into the cabin and it smells like mold and feet. The window shades were covered in dust and mold. Ceiling has a layer of dirt. The windows (all of them) had visible mold on them. Some of the walls also had it especially in the kitchen. The shower was gross it certainly didn’t look like it was cleaned due to the fact that I had to clean grime off of the cubby’s to put my soap and wash cloth down. We woke up every morning with trouble breathing and reactions to the mold. Currently still dealing with those reactions! The second night we had to sleep with all of the windows open just to be able to breathe. The shower was the worst for smells of mold. We brought this up to the woman at the desk. The woman found someone to clean it (Kaylie) and she did as much as she could. Still wasn’t perfect but made it a little better for the rest of our stay we appreciated her kindness. She was wonderful with the activities. Keep her if you can! These cabins aren’t cheap please clean them before your guests check in! Also to save your assets! I don’t think that’s too much to ask. Definitely put a lot of undue stress on our family and Vacation.
