Stone River Rv park and campgrounds Reviews
We were thankful for a safe place to stay for a night when we were on our way through. It was a quiet place, out in the country but conviently located for travel. The lady I spoke to on the phone was kind and helpful, she reserved our spot so we were sure to have a place when we arrived. There are a few cluttered, what look like full-timers, there but overall a clean campground. They do an honor system for payment which is admirable. The biggest complaint I have is that the lady told me $28 for the night but then on the sign next to their honor system payment box it says the fees are based off of 2 person occupancy and it's an extra $2/person after that. We are a family of 6. It just would have been nice if she had been totally upfront with me instead of surprise added fees when paying.Updated review: Vickie contacted me via text in regard to the surprise fees. She so kindly apologized, stated it is on their website, which I never visited because I had just called her and she mistakingly forgot to mention the fees.. she's only human like the rest of us. No harm done. Very nice lady.
