Southernaire Reviews
I've been here for over 10 years and while it's not perfect, it is by NO means a dump! I think the rent is high, remember this is a retirement community so people are on a fixed income and it's hard when rent is raised, less money in our pockets. The people are basically friendly and it's very conveniently located. It's also very quiet.
Jul 13, 2024 · Marcia HamiltonThis is where I live. It's a quiet over 55 community. We have to cut our own lawns, the side benefit of that.... no rigid protocol on landscape design. Injecting a little humor here 🤔, If you put a toilet in the front yard with a flower in it you might get called out on that!! LOL If grass gets tall they send a notice, and we have quarterly yard inspections. Julie is the manager and she's quite helpful and friendly, yet tough when necessary. The people that live here are seniors for the most part. Like any Community some people keep to themselves and others are more social. I've read some negative reviews about our community. Other places are paying higher lot rent. We don't have a lot of amenities or a swimming pool, but do have a clubhouse, washateria, shuffleboard, board games that you can use. I believe they even play bingo at times. We also have community events, and potluck dinners every so often.Personally I think my community is awesome. I ignore grumpy people, and disassociate myself from those that are negative.
Feb 15, 2023 · RayleneA beautiful little park !This past Sunday was the first time I'd seen it. I was excited to ride through it because I'd met the Mgr Julia a few weeks before in Orlando. I'd just happened to mention that I planned on retiring in a 55 plus Mobile Home park up in that area. Just so happens she was the Mgr.I can't wait to call her in a day or so and discuss more details about the park.God is AMAZING !!! 🙏🌿
Aug 04, 2021 · Angela JFor the amount of lot rent you would think that they would clean the streets They do not trim trees . They say that we are responsible . ?? The land is theirs ,but the trees ours? It could be a nice park if people would not dump ln the streets. Maybe if the park would cut the grass , trim trees ,clean streets and build retaining walls where needed. The people would take more pride in their places.
May 31, 2017 · Jo WilcoxonThis place is a freaking dump , rent is high , no amenities . Yes Eric is still here caught him walking around 10:30 pm as I was coming home from work , he has been arrested multiple times , why can’t you evict him , this is supposed to be 55 and up park . Oh and for everyone’s information , there are three tenants that have rats including myself . Take out the shuffleboard courts and put in a pool , for the profit you make off this land . I hope the road goes right through this park . I am only here cause I can’t afford to move at the moment . And staff does not need to be coming in my screen room , which I believe is trespassing . You threaten to remove my pets from my trailer and you will have a huge lawsuit on your hands , and by the way , my animals are always on a leash . If something is not done about this rat problem , I will commence to call the county , then the state then channel 9 news and public ally embarrass you and have your little trailer park condemned.
