I had an absolutely horrible experience with this company (South Peaks park as well as their parent company, Harmony Communities, based in Stockton, CA. I made a legitimate all-cash offer to Harmony to buy a tiny home that they have been having trouble selling in the park. It is unit A71. Was told to speak with Mick in Stockton who seemed extremely unenthusiastic and non-informative to say the least… he was so unprofessional in every respect. Then I arranged to have my son visit the home. I had previously submitted an ‘accepted offer’ (of $89k cash) for the home. Mick agreed to the price and the terms of the sale in advance. Then after my son drove for more than three hours to visir South Peaks park to inspect the home, Mick would not pick up the phone when I called even though we had agreed in advance to talk following my son’s visit and inspection. When I called, their secretary/transaction coordinator, Neolani, said Mick was out to lunch. Well, he never called back. Then I called back a few hours later Neolani said he left for the day. She also informed me that they had received another all cash offer on the home.Very unethical business practices. I have contacted the California Department of Real Estate and I will be filing a formal complaint. I will also be contacting other CA governmental regulatory agencies to file complaints about this shabby company. Moreover, I will be filing complaints about the real estate agent/company that referred me to them, Richard Milanesa, based in Santa Maria, CA. I do not recommend doing business with South Peaks park, or any these people mentioned above, or their businesses. This experience has been a total nightmare. - view one
