Choosing Sequoia Resort & RV Park is a choice to prioritize an immersive, high-quality mountain experience over a basic camping trip. It is worth choosing for several compelling reasons that resonate with the California traveler.
First, you are choosing an Unmatched Recreational Basecamp. While there are many places to stay near the National Parks, few offer the private, extensive recreational amenities found here. With a private lake, free boat and bike rentals, and a large property with trails, the resort itself is a destination. You get the benefits of being near the National Park while enjoying a clean, fully-serviced environment, avoiding the disappointment often found at less-maintained public campgrounds. The National Park Camping appeal is magnified by having full hookups and modern conveniences like on-site laundry.
Second, the resort delivers an Elevated Accommodation Experience. For those seeking more than an RV site, the vacation homes and studios are described as exceeding expectations, with fully equipped modern spaces, large decks perfect for grilling and relaxation, and stunning views. This makes it ideal for a multi-family gathering or a true Romantic Getaway where a private, high-quality cabin is desired. The mid-century modern architectural touches and thoughtful amenities, such as fully stocked kitchens, show an attention to detail that elevates the stay.
Finally, you are guaranteed Exceptional Hospitality. The glowing reviews about the friendly owners and helpful management, who go out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay, indicate a genuine passion for hospitality. In an area where service can sometimes be rustic, the staff at Sequoia Resort & RV Park provides a five-star experience that makes guests feel like they are truly "living a dream." This personal touch, combined with the spectacular natural surroundings—which guests find to be as beautiful as the National Parks themselves—solidifies the resort as a must-book destination for your next Sierra Nevada adventure.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful beautiful area. Bathrooms were clean and maintained. Campsites that were all functional. We've been on the road for over 90 days this summer and we have really been disappointed in some of the campgrounds. It was nice to get to one that was as good or better than advertised.
August 08 · Rob BurkhartThis was an experience of a lifetime and my wife and I will definitely be back with both of our families.Let’s start with the drive through Dry Creek Drive which reminded me of a fantasy land with unmatched beauty everywhere. I was driving 10 miles per hour because I was in such awe.We arrive and we are greeted by a loving mixture of cats of all colors and patterns. All of them nice, friendly, and loving. Then there’s Joseph the manager who helped us at every turn. The Queen studio we entered exceeded our expectations 1,000,000%. It was recently redone and it was modern with convenient appliances and coffee there. We walked around the whole property which rivaled the beauty of the Sequoia National Park adventures. I don’t know which was better, but the whole trip was magical. We met the owners who were gloriously sweet and kind and we felt taken care of at every turn.I was brought to tears when we had to leave, because I felt like I was living my dream as a Hobbit in the Shire. And did I tell you they have houses with decks with BBQs that overlook a private lake? Stop thinking and book this gem.
April 23 · Michael BurtonThis was one of my favourite campsites so far!The setting is beautiful and each site has beautiful views. The sites are all super spacious and have full hook ups and picnic tables. The location is beautiful, right by a lake, full of wildlife and close to kings canyon entrance. It feels remote yet homely. The host was super friendly and helpful. It was also great value for money. We loved it so much we extend our stay there! It is also super family friendly with a swing, basketball hoop, games and dvds to borrow.
April 18 · Stephie MizziGreat experience overall. Relatively close to the King's Canyon National Park entrance. Nice sites not all crammed together. 7 foot privacy fence between sites is extra nice. Staff is always pleasant and extremely helpful.
July 28 · Ted JudsonThis is a lovely location. However, this is NOT made for campers over 30ft. The road that gets there says that (nothing greater than 30ft from king pin to bumper). Just because the RV park says you can bring larger because their park can accommodate, the road leading there does NOT accommodate! Thankfully, we encountered few cars so we could take up the whole road. Also, you don’t want to roll in at night. We had a four hour delay and arrived at the park after dark. Sharp turns and large berm that was difficult to see actually resulted in damage to the truck as we tried to maneuver to the site.Beautiful and serene for smaller campers/RVs. And plan to stay off WiFi/phone unless you go to the library at the resort.Staff was very helpful during our stay. But again, don’t try to bring a big rig up, even if they say you’ll be fine.
