It's described as a "lovely location with easy access to beach and 101 freeway in a rural haven," perfectly encapsulating its appeal as a peaceful retreat that doesn't compromise on connectivity.
The community is nestled within the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains wine country, offering breathtaking natural surroundings and a sense of escape from the urban sprawl. It's important to acknowledge that the community has faced challenges. Recent reviews mention that "many of the upper level homes were destroyed by the recent fire." This refers to the Woolsey Fire, which significantly impacted the area. However, the community has shown remarkable resilience, with "reconstruction underway" and reports of "new roads and utilities also being installed." This demonstrates the community's determination to rebuild and its ongoing efforts to restore and even enhance the living environment, showcasing a strong, supportive spirit among residents during challenging times. The community's position on Mulholland Highway, a renowned scenic route, ensures a picturesque drive to and from the park. Dec 20, 2023 · Mr. G. Rhoadeslovely location with easy access to beach and 101 freeway in a rural haven, mobile homes ranging from decent to lovely, well kept up, with good communal facilities (pool, fitness, lake, etc) for those who live there, excellent storage for RVs; unfortunately many of the upper level homes were destroyed by the recent fire but reconstruction underway.
Jul 10, 2019 · Robert HoffmanNice and quite community to live at. They have a pool, club house, and even their own lake where you can walk your dog at. Too bad it recently got affected by the fire, about half of the houses burnt down:(
Jun 20, 2019 · JuliaI and several others volunteered time to help those burnt out in the recent Woolsey fire get their paperwork together to apply for FEMA loans to rebuild. We didn't actually have anyone come in during my shift, but residents and owners have been coming in for help the rest of the time.It was very informative to see the extent of the damage and see how people were being helped.
May 07, 2019 · William FunkNow, this is a very good place to live in just by looking on the outside from the ouside looking in so to speak. This is a controlled environment. And it is very quite and clean. It's smack into Sylmar hills but to me this is a well manage mobile home park. Maybe you can come and visit and stop by the sales office and see what they have available.
