This meticulously maintained park offers a modern and exceptionally clean environment, setting a high standard for RV camping in the Hoosier State. Whether you're a seasoned RVer passing through or looking for a comfortable base to explore Southeastern Indiana, this park provides a unique blend of outdoor convenience and exciting resort amenities. It's more than just a place to park your rig; it's an extension of the Rising Star Casino Resort experience, designed to offer a comfortable and engaging stay.
For Indiana locals and travelers, the RV Park at Rising Star Casino stands out for its well-kept grounds and modern facilities, as consistently praised by visitors. From its spacious sites with concrete pads to its pristine showers and laundry rooms, every aspect is geared towards a pleasant experience. The friendly and helpful staff contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, making guests feel right at home. While directly connected to the casino, the RV park maintains a quiet and peaceful ambiance, offering the best of both worlds: a serene retreat with the excitement of a resort just a short walk away. This combination makes it an ideal choice for those seeking a high-quality RV experience with added entertainment options in Indiana.
The RV Park at Rising Star Casino is conveniently located at 777 Rising Star Dr, Rising Sun, IN 47040, USA. This address places the park directly adjacent to the Rising Star Casino Resort, on the picturesque banks of the Ohio River in Southeastern Indiana. Rising Sun is a quaint town that offers a relaxed atmosphere while providing easy access to various local attractions and the wider Ohio River Valley.
The accessibility of the RV Park is a key advantage for visitors. It's situated approximately 45 minutes from Cincinnati, Ohio, and within a two-hour drive of major Indiana cities like Indianapolis, as well as Dayton, Ohio, Louisville, Kentucky, and Lexington, Kentucky. This central location in the tri-state area makes it an excellent destination for a convenient getaway or a stop on a longer journey. For daily conveniences, a Dollar General and an IGA grocery store are located directly across the street from the RV park, with a convenient gate providing easy access for guests. While the casino itself is a short walk away, the official information states there is no shuttle service between the RV park and the main casino building. This means guests should be prepared for a walk, which some past visitors have noted as less pleasant in extreme weather. However, the overall proximity to the casino, its dining options, entertainment venues, and the award-winning Scottish-links style golf course, The Links at Rising Star, adds significant value. Furthermore, the historic town of Rising Sun itself offers local charm, including the Ohio County Tourism Visitors Center, Rising Sun Riverfront Park, and various local shops and eateries, all within a short distance, enhancing the overall accessibility and appeal of this RV park destination in Indiana.

It's important for prospective guests to be aware of some feedback from past visitors. While the RV park itself receives overwhelmingly positive reviews for its quality, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of a dedicated shuttle service to the casino, noting that walking in extreme weather can be uncomfortable. Additionally, some have found casino machines to be "very tight" and older, with limited new game titles, and the casino food options as "mediocre" with scarce variety. There have also been mentions of "poor customer service" when requesting rides from the casino. While the RV park's quality is consistently rated five stars, these issues led to a deduction in overall satisfaction for some. Guests are encouraged to manage expectations regarding casino offerings and transportation and to clarify any specific amenity access upon arrival.

RV Park at Rising Star Casino Reviews
We are here for the first time and the park is extremely nice and clean. Everyone has been really friendly and helpful. We normally do state and federal parks but think that we have just been spoiled. The dog park is the best I have seen. I would definitely recommend this park. Just leave me a spot 😆. Thanks to all the employees for making this a great stay.
May 28, 2025 · Edith PeaceThe good: The RV park itself is very well kept and relatively new. Sites are average size. Very quiet here this week. Very clean. Very modern. Nice showers and laundry room. The sites feature a concrete pad to park on, water hook up, sewer hook up, 50 30 20 amp service, and cable. The WiFi mediocre. You put your garbage to the road every morning for pick up. Dollar General and IGA are located across the street and there is a gate to access them. The bad: There is no shuttle going back and forth from the casino to the RV park. Walking across the blacktop in 100° weather is not pleasant. When you call to ask for a ride, they are rude and careless. The machines are VERY VERY tight here. The machines are also very old. Not many, if any, new game titles at all. The food at the Casino is also mediocre and variety/choice is scarce.SUMMARY: RV Park is actually 5 stars. But they lose 2 stars because of poor customer service.
Jul 27, 2022 · Jason BelangerThis would be a 5 star review if rvers cleaned up after themselves. Since they don’t it hurts the parks rating. The sites themselves are very nice full hookup sites, concrete with gravel next to it and some grass. There’s a laundry, bathrooms and a dog park. The park is completely fenced as well with a security gate which is nice. There’s not much else out here except for the casino and a few small restaurants and a small IGA. There are more restaurants and things in Aurora and Lawrenceburg. The casino is right on the river so you could probably kayak or paddle board here. There’s not much shade, if you want shade ask for it when you book. The paperwork says that the casino picks up trash daily. They do not. There is a dumpster. I suggest they update their paperwork because when everyone comes they put their trash out the first morning, it never gets picked up. If you ask at check in you get access to the pool, gym( old equipment, but will suffice) and the business office. The issues are all with other rvers. Dog poo doesn’t pick itself up! The park provides several dog poo bag stations people to learn to use them. The dog park is nice, but there’s dog poo everywhere. There is one guy there with three huskies and he’s been there a while. They aren’t friendly and he warns you which is nice. Except he’s in the park with the 15-20 minutes at a time and no one else can use the dog park because his dogs act like a pack of wolves and by his own admission are dangerous to other dogs. He does this 5-6 times a day. He sits there on the phone the entire time and then before he leaves he wanders around pretending to look for poo and maybe picks up one bag if he finds it. He pays no attention to the dogs and if you walk by the dogs run at the fence and snarl and bark. If he paid attention he would know where they poo’d and there wouldn’t be piles of poo everywhere. He also has very little control over them and it’s dangerous whenever he walks them to and from the park. There were other dogs at a site next to the dog park and he had trouble dragging his three into the park. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Hopefully he’s a one time visitor who is leaving soon.
