However, it is crucial for prospective Michigan residents to conduct thorough due diligence, taking into account the full spectrum of resident experiences. While one review speaks to a peaceful and affordable experience for those who maintain their properties and adhere to rules, another highlights serious concerns regarding management's professionalism, arbitrary charges (especially for utilities in vacant homes), and a perceived lack of compassion. For locals, the suitability of Rochester Estates hinges on a clear understanding of these potential challenges. By directly engaging with both the sales and community offices, verifying the current condition and availability of amenities, and carefully reviewing all terms and conditions, Michigan residents can make an informed decision about whether Rochester Estates aligns with their long-term housing needs and expectations in this attractive part of the state.

Rochester Estates Reviews
This is my second time because causal they delete my review. Here’s a revised version of the post, written in a more professional tone:I strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs. If I could give it zero stars, I would. After living here for six years, I can confidently say it was the worst experience I’ve had. The staff in the office are consistently unprofessional and rude, showing no concern for the residents in the community. They impose charges arbitrarily, and it’s unclear how some of the staff have been employed for so long despite their lack of compassion and poor customer service skills. My house was listed for sale in February, and we moved out of state in May, leaving the house empty to facilitate showings. Suddenly, we were hit with a water bill of nearly $600 and an additional sewage bill of over $400. This is outrageous, considering the house was unoccupied. When we inquired about the charges, we received an unhelpful and dismissive email, claiming they had called us, even though no such call was received. Upon calling them, I was met with a rude and unsympathetic response. The representative on the phone suggested that someone had turned on the outdoor water faucet and left it running, but this explanation was both implausible and unhelpful. The staff member offered no solutions or adjustments to the charges, leaving us entirely responsible for the bills despite the house being vacant.I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The management charges for even the smallest things and has no regard for the well-being of the residents. Please, avoid this community at all costs.
Jan 10, 2025 · Merari HMe and my family lived here for 10yrs and I have to say it's been peaceful, affordable, and an overall great experience..i see alot of negative reviews here but I'm going to tell you most of them are the people who refuse to play by the rules , keep your grass cut and yard/home looking nice and you will never know they exist lol its funny how the ones who don't do NOTHING to help themselves are the loudest when it's time to leave but hey to each there own but to my own it was and is a great place to live..I will miss Rochester 😊
Apr 29, 2025 · Jerry SandersI didn't want to leave a bad review but when the office is told about a house playing loud music there should be some type of respect for others. I have been talking about the certain corner house on Marquette Ct and the music can still be heard down the street. I had original gave the wrong address, I went and look and it was a number off. the can't miss hearing the loud music. There nothing with playing music within your home, people should not be able to hear it in the next block. It's bad enough it's the corner home that has young people living with their grandmother. I should not have to turn up my TV or my music just to hear what I am playing over their loud music. I'm quite sure I'm not the only one and maybe the past owner probably moved due to the music. It's not warm/hot yet and the music is coming through closed windows and doors. I can only imagine when it get warmer. Hopefully the office staff (s) ride more during after hours when it's warmer. I gues you can't judge a book by the cover, you have to read the chapters to get the FULL view!
Aug 02, 2024 · Mahogany BrownishThis is a place* to stay, I wouldn't give it a good rating. This rating specifically will be contingent upon whether or not they actually do something about a very problematic tenant on Reaume st. **Right across from their special new unit @451 Reaume st.** If nothing is done I'm going to post the video. Its a disturbance, the guy is disgraceful and he disrupts the peace every weekend when doing yardwork.
May 31, 2025 · Jack MitchellI have loved living here ….. Mostly. It’s a clean, cared for community with a friendly staff. The homes are not the best quality. They look beautiful when presented but many deteriorate after inhabited.I’ve been here for 10 years. Most of my experiences have been good except for issues with my home itself.
