Rivers Edge RV and Stables in Springdale, AR, presents itself as an option for travelers. This unique establishment combines RV camping with equestrian facilities, aiming to cater to a specific niche of outdoor and animal lovers. However, like any destination, it's important for prospective visitors to gather comprehensive information to determine if it aligns with their expectations and needs.
The allure of an RV park often lies in its ability to offer a convenient and comfortable home-away-from-home, providing essential hookups and a sense of community. Rivers Edge RV and Stables, as its name suggests, attempts to bridge the gap between traditional RV parks and facilities for those traveling with horses, offering a distinct experience in Northwest Arkansas. As with any travel planning, understanding the specifics of what a park offers, including its amenities, accessibility, and the experiences of past visitors, is crucial for making an informed decision.
This article aims to provide a factual overview of Rivers Edge RV and Stables based on publicly available information and customer feedback. Our goal is to help local Arkansas users understand the park's offerings, its location within the Springdale area, and considerations to keep in mind for a potentially enjoyable stay.
Location and Accessibility
Rivers Edge RV and Stables is situated at 20751 Blue Springs Village Rd, Springdale, AR 72764, USA. Springdale is a significant city in Northwest Arkansas, known for its economic growth, cultural attractions, and as a gateway to the Ozark Mountains. The park's address suggests a location that aims to offer a blend of natural surroundings with relative proximity to urban conveniences.
Regarding accessibility, some customer feedback indicates that the park might be somewhat removed from major interstates, such as I-49, which could extend travel times to popular destinations or rally sites. For instance, one review mentioned being "far away from I-49 and about over 30 minutes to get to Pig Trail HD," which might be a consideration for those attending specific events or needing quick highway access. The roads within and leading to the park are described as potentially having "huge holes" and being "very hilly and with all that gravel," which could pose challenges for maneuvering larger RVs, especially dually trucks or toy haulers. This information suggests that while the location offers a more secluded feel, it might require careful navigation for certain vehicle types.
Despite these considerations, the Springdale area itself provides ample access to essential services including grocery stores, dining establishments, retail options, and medical facilities. The park's proximity to Beaver Lake and other outdoor recreational areas, as indicated by its general location in Northwest Arkansas, offers opportunities for fishing, hiking, and enjoying the natural beauty of the region.

Road conditions within the park (potholes, gravel) are also noted as a concern for RV tires and axles, and for motorcycles.
- Limited Site Amenities: One review specifically mentioned the absence of a grill or picnic table at their site, which are commonly expected amenities at RV parks.

Its unique combination of RV sites and stable facilities caters directly to Arkansans who own horses or are involved in equestrian activities and wish to travel with their animals. While some might find the "tucked away" nature appealing for a quiet escape, others might prioritize easy maneuverability and quick access to city amenities or event locations.
Ultimately, Rivers Edge RV and Stables serves a specific niche within the Arkansas RV community. For those prioritizing equestrian facilities, basic amenities, and a potentially more secluded setting, it could be a suitable option. For others, particularly those with very large rigs or a strong need for perfectly paved roads and immediate highway access, direct communication with the park to clarify specific site conditions and their suitability for your vehicle is highly recommended before booking.

Rivers Edge RV and Stables Reviews
Everyone but Brenda are very nice and polite but Brenda is never hateful, I made a comment about the potholes being repaired and she said hatefully "Well it wasn't me" and I said " Geez I was just trying to be nice" if she hates her job so much she doesn't have to take it out on us. She doesn't belong in the office anymore
May 31, 2025 · Kirk WhitesideNever again. I rented a concrete slab pull through for our 44 ft toy hauler for Bikes, Blues and BBQ, They failed to mention that there were rocks and gravel all around the slab. To get onto the slab, we had to go up an incline of rocks, which made it difficult to unload the Harleys without pulling out into the street in front of the RV to be able to lower the ramp. We had to put moving blankets down for the ramp to sit on so we didn't scratch the outside of the ramp when getting the bikes out. The gravel at the front of the RV was extremely loose. The neighbor in front of the RV came and griped at us that we were blocking the road while we were trying to unload and then said they should never have put us in that space, but hey, it's a "nice, quiet park". Not quite. The trailer on the opposite side behind our RV had an AC unit that was loud and never stopped running for 3 days and nights to the point that you wouldn't have been able to sit outside and enjoy the firepit. Mind you, there's no grill or picnic table, either. Huge holes in the road in front of us and when you make the turn to leave the park. Extremely dangerous for bikes and not so good for RV tires/axels. The park is also very hilly and with all that gravel, it wasn't the best place to try to maneuver 44 ft of rigging with an F350 dually. Far away from I-49 and about over 30 minutes to get to Pig Trail HD, where most of the rally was happening. We will NOT be going back. Picture shows the RV while unloading. If we had tried to unload without being pulled out into the street, the ramp would have been angled down closer to a 90° angle.
Sep 26, 2023 · Lisa V Kennedy, LCSW, LICSWVery little shade, lots of road noise, high priced and management never available. I've never even seen her. Other than that it's great.
May 20, 2022 · scott howardThis Was An Ok, basic Spot To Overnight; pretty expensive at $60/night, but they did give either Sr discount or veteran discount of 10%. This is certainly not a resort, and is at least a quarter mile from White River, feeding Beaver Lake. Pretty Large RV PK, With Many Permanent Residents. No sign at entrance, and we passed it by winding around a neighborhood of houses that was between the RV Park and the true water’s Edge.Verizon signal was good at 3 jiggers; and stronger than their wifi. We were about 100 yds from nice new looking bathhouse which had wifi antenna with good reception at bathhouse but weak at our camper. Supposedly there are repeaters to amplify the WiFi signal, but they were not operational. We got by streaming YouTube TV through our Verizon Hotspot on our phones. We had to buy an extra sewer hose to connect to sewer, as it was placed so far toward entrance of the site, rather than toward rear of site where electric and water were appropriately placed. Nice courteous staff. We were on a level, narrow concrete pad; ~half of sites were gravel; no picnic table.
