This community could be exceptional if not for horrible management. It's unfortunate to only allow an elderly demographic to live here based on interview only acceptance and then take advantage by raising the rent and utilizing an outrageous late fee policy when the homeowners have no choice but to comply because up and moving their homes off the rented land is next to impossible. After my mom passed away unexpectedly, my sisters and I had to quickly sell the house to avoid unexpected costly rent on the land on which her house sat. I expected to be nickled and dimed for every dollar possible. I did not expect to be charged exorbitant lawn maintenance fees which I did not authorize nor did I agree to. When I explained the financial bind this sudden rent situation put us in and asked what flexibility was available, I was met with, "I would encourage you/the estate to sell the home ASAP." Well of course! Thank you for the compassionate and helpful advice! I'm so thankful to be done dealing with the cold hearted management of this elderly serving community. I wouldn't buy a house here ever nor would I let someone I love even consider it.
