Rigby Air Village RV Park Introduce
For RV enthusiasts and travelers journeying through or seeking a temporary home in Eastern Idaho, Rigby Air Village RV Park offers a functional and accessible solution. Situated in the charming community of Rigby, a town known for its welcoming atmosphere and proximity to some of the Gem State’s most famous natural wonders, this RV park is designed to serve as a practical basecamp for your Idaho adventures.
Eastern Idaho is a hub for outdoor activity, and having a reliable place to park your RV is essential for fully exploring the area. Rigby is perfectly positioned, putting you within an easy drive of world-class destinations. From the park, you can plan day trips to the geothermal marvels of Yellowstone National Park, the stunning peaks of Grand Teton National Park, and the unique landscape of the St. Anthony Sand Dunes. Closer to home, you have access to local treasures like Rigby Lake for swimming and fishing, and the famous Heise Hot Springs for a relaxing soak.
The Rigby Air Village RV Park offers a no-frills approach to RV life, focusing on providing the core necessities for a comfortable stay. This includes offering full hookup sites capable of accommodating big rigs, ensuring that travelers with larger travel trailers (over 40 ft) can find a spacious and level spot to set up camp. While the experience is primarily focused on utility and convenience, the surrounding area provides an abundance of natural beauty and recreation that truly defines the Idaho experience.
It is important for prospective guests to note that, as with any developing location, experiences can vary. Public feedback has, at times, highlighted concerns regarding park condition and customer service, including issues related to deposit refunds and communication. Guests are advised to contact the park directly, confirm all reservation details, and clarify the park's rules and policies, particularly concerning deposits, prior to arrival. The park owner, Avery, has demonstrated a willingness to address specific customer complaints, including offering refunds where a guest's experience did not meet expectations. This willingness to engage with feedback is a positive sign for potential improvements and transparency.
Despite past challenges, the sheer number of available full hookup sites—86 are advertised—suggests the park is focused on volume and accommodating many travelers heading into the Yellowstone/Grand Teton region. Rigby itself is a quaint community that offers a quieter, less congested experience than the major nearby cities, while still providing essential services and local attractions like the Jefferson County Historical Society and Museum, which celebrates Rigby’s claim as the “Birthplace of Television” due to inventor Philo T. Farnsworth.
The Rigby Air Village RV Park is conveniently situated near the town of Rigby, in Jefferson County, Idaho. This location offers easy access to major transportation routes, making it a functional overnight stop or a practical extended basecamp for exploring the greater Eastern Idaho area.

For those with mobility needs, the park provides a key accessibility feature:

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I cannot figure out how to amend my review, so here goes a new one. Three weeks ago, the beginning of August 2025, I left an honest review about the derelict condition of this park, warning people that it is not as advertised on their website. The owner, Avery, contacted me. We had an honest conversation about my experience and disappointment with the park. He graciously refunded one entire night and half of the night we did stay, and assured me great changes were coming. I appreciate that. However, I would not stay again.
August 26 · Norma Thurston HoltmanAvoid these folks like the plague! Crooked as the day is long. I was told the deposit could be refunded, minus a $10/ fee. Even states it in the rules they sent. Now refusing to refund us.They wouldn’t even get back to us on question about their long list of rules. We waited a week and followed up and not a peep at all from them. This is the exact same park location that has reviews of it being one big lab!! AVOID!
August 10 · Cheyenne HadleyWe were long term residents of the park. My husband had a double bypass heart surgery in June and had been harassed by a neighbor who wouldn't let him be. This Tennant had recently sent another tenant to the hospital by assaulting him. But my husband was evicted for verbally fighting with this tenant when this person should have been evicted weeks ago. The new owner should be ashamed of themselves. He can't assist with the move due to his fragile condition. Shane on them. Terrible management.
August 20 · jessica collinsThe new owners are doing a great job of updating the park. New bathouse and the new office are nice additions. I stayed in pull through and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend.
August 20 · Doug FergusonRigby Air Village advertises as a nice RV park with “plenty of amenities.” Like many nicer RV parks, their Rules and Regulations say incoming units may be inspected by management “to assure the unit is in good condition.” What a joke! There are no signs until you travel down a rough gravel road past a few hundred porta-potties. The GPS says you’ve arrived a block too soon. The park is a collection of aging trailers and motor homes surrounded by trash, greying particle board, and black plastic. It looks like a derelict dump for units too decrepit to use anymore. The pads are loose dirt and river rock, and the electrical post was almost too wobbly to stand. Their website says to know your site number and dates for a smooth check-in. However, the man on duty said our reserved space already had someone in it. A nice website cannot compensate for a park that is a pit, making one fear that drug addicts and derelicts are right next door. The owners should be ashamed to present Rigby Air Village as a place for family and friends to roast marshmallows and relax around a fire pit.
