This guide will serve as your essential resource for understanding the different facets of Redstone RV Park, helping you navigate your options for RV living in Alabama.
Redstone RV Park (Formerly Mountain Breeze) is situated at 3829 Hwy 231, Laceys Spring, AL 35754, USA. This location places it in Laceys Spring, a community in Morgan County, Alabama, known for its scenic surroundings and proximity to larger cities. Being located directly on Highway 231, a major roadway, offers significant advantages for accessibility for RVs and easy navigation for residents.
The park's position on a busy road means convenient access to and from the highway, which is beneficial for travelers and those who commute for work. This direct access can simplify arrivals and departures, especially for larger RVs. However, as noted in one review, being on a busy road can also mean "constant noise is common." Prospective residents or visitors who prefer a very quiet environment should take this into consideration.
Laceys Spring itself offers a more rural and relaxed atmosphere compared to larger metropolitan areas, providing a sense of peace for residents. Yet, its proximity to Highway 231 means that essential amenities and services are within reasonable driving distance. Nearby towns and cities like Huntsville, known for the Redstone Arsenal and numerous job opportunities, are accessible from Laceys Spring. This makes Redstone RV Park a potential option for individuals working on projects in the Huntsville area who require an extended stay RV park.
The surrounding area of Laceys Spring is characterized by natural beauty, including access to outdoor recreational activities. While specific local attractions are not detailed in the provided information, the general region of Northern Alabama offers opportunities for hiking, fishing, and exploring the beautiful landscapes. For those seeking a blend of convenience for travel and work, coupled with a connection to Alabama’s natural environment, the park's location offers a practical solution.

- Reported to be a "clean" park by some residents.

It is critically important to acknowledge and address the highly contrasting feedback regarding the management of Redstone RV Park. While one review praises the "owner as very nice," another provides a severely negative account, alleging extremely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from the owner. This includes accusations of the owner using derogatory language ("didn’t rent to white trash from the area"), making threats about RV ownership ("told me that he would own my rv if we didn’t pay on time"), and being generally unhelpful and inhospitable ("he needs lessons on hospitality"). These conflicting accounts highlight a significant inconsistency in customer experience and management interaction that prospective residents must be fully aware of.
The positive mentions of the park being "always clean" and having a "wash house for laundry" are valuable amenities for RVers. Similarly, the confirmation that "Plumbing, Electric, Internet, all good" addresses fundamental needs for any RV stay. However, these positive operational aspects must be weighed against the serious concerns regarding management conduct, which, if accurate, could severely impact a resident's experience and sense of security.

Given the starkly contrasting reviews, prospective visitors are strongly advised to engage in a detailed conversation with the management to clarify all terms, policies, and address any concerns raised by previous customers. A personal visit to the park, if feasible, is highly recommended to assess the current conditions of the sites, facilities, and to form a firsthand impression of the management and overall environment. It would also be prudent to inquire about any written policies regarding payment, late fees, and eviction procedures to ensure full understanding before committing to a stay.
Redstone RV Park (Formerly Mountain Breeze) in Laceys Spring, Alabama, presents a mixed picture for potential RVers. Its suitability for locals, particularly those with "traveling jobs" like pipefitters, primarily stems from its provision of long-term RV lot rentals with functional utility hookups and an on-site laundry facility. The reported cleanliness of the park is also a positive aspect for residents seeking a well-maintained environment. The location on Highway 231 offers good accessibility for those needing to commute to nearby areas, including Huntsville.
However, the highly concerning and contradictory feedback regarding management interactions is a critical factor that local users in Alabama must consider. Allegations of unprofessional and hostile communication from the owner, including derogatory remarks and aggressive statements about property ownership, are extremely serious. Such experiences, if true, would severely undermine the positive aspects of the park and create an unwelcoming, insecure environment for residents. While one review praises the owner, the other paints a picture of extreme lack of hospitality, which could be a deal-breaker for many.
In conclusion, while Redstone RV Park addresses a need for affordable and functional RV lodging in the Laceys Spring area, its suitability for local Alabamians largely hinges on clarifying and feeling comfortable with the management's approach to customer service. Prospective residents should prioritize thorough direct communication with the park's representatives, seek written confirmations of all terms, and if possible, speak with current residents to gather a broader perspective before making a decision. The practical amenities may be in place, but the human element of park management appears to be a significant and potentially problematic variable that must be carefully evaluated by anyone considering this RV park as their temporary or long-term home in Alabama.

Redstone RV Park (Formerly Mountain Breeze) Reviews
My husband is a traveling pipe fitter with the union. We were brought to the area for a couple of months for a project they were working on, so my husband had me call around for somewhere to rent for our camper. The owner told me he didn’t rent to white trash from the area and told me that he would own my rv if we didn’t pay on time. He also stated he didn’t allow people who jump from park to park to avoid paying their lot rent and that I wouldn’t find anywhere in the area to go because of waiting to the last minute to find a lot. Mind you, all I did was ask about monthly rental for a lot while we are in the area! Needless to say, he needs lessons on hospitality. I wouldn’t stay there if it was the last place on earth!! The audacity of this man!!

There is a wash house for laundry, so, that's a bonus.Good for extended stay, due to traveling jobs.It used to be an old trailer park and is being converted to RV's.Plumbing, Electric, Internet, all good.It is located on a busy road so, constant noise is common.
Mar 12, 2025 · Kim DealWe are staying there while our house is being built close by. It is a nice, clean, safe place to stay. Tommy does a great job maintaining the park. The sites are level. There is a Food for Less grocery store and a Dollar General nearby (1/2 mile), and it is close to Huntsville and Arab, about 8 miles, in either direction.
Jan 14, 2024 · Rick MasonWould NEVER give the man a dime of my money! I’m a travel welder have a job near by looking for somewhere to put my camper for at least a year. Man was extremely rude to my wife about us staying with him and all his rules. Told her about him turning down anyone who is local and how he has $600,000 invested in him park. Being rude to people who are going to be steady rent for a year is probably why 18 of his 23 spots are empty!
Jul 28, 2021 · Tyler HolcombPeaceful & quiet. There isn't much there tho. They do have a washer & dryer. Close to Huntsville. 1 min from grocery and dollar store. The man that runs the place is absolutely the sweetest man. He has helped my kids with their bikes . Helped us when the electrical system in our RV went haywire. He is a very nice man. Most ppl here, live here and its very quiet. Nice place if you're wanting to relax.
