Red Bay Self Service RV Park is conveniently located at 717 4th St W, Red Bay, AL 35582, USA. This address places the park squarely within Red Bay, a small but internationally recognized city in Franklin County, Alabama. Red Bay's primary claim to fame is being the headquarters and manufacturing plant for Tiffin Motorhomes, a leading RV manufacturer. This makes the RV park's location exceptionally strategic for Tiffin owners.
The park boasts outstanding accessibility, particularly for its target clientele. It is described as being "within walking distance of the Tiffin Service Center," making it incredibly convenient for RVers undergoing service or repairs. For many, the ability to walk directly to the service center eliminates the need to move their RV once set up, or to arrange alternative transportation. Beyond the Tiffin facilities, the park's location also offers easy access to local amenities. Reviews highlight that a grocery store is "less than 1/2 mile" away, and there are "a couple of good food options" within easy walking distance. This ensures that daily necessities, from provisions to meals, are readily available without needing to drive. Additionally, the park provides "easy in and out" access to other local repair, maintenance, and detailing shops in Red Bay, such as 1st Class Glass. While Red Bay is a smaller town, its focus on the RV industry means it's well-equipped to serve the needs of RVers, and Red Bay Self Service RV Park is perfectly positioned to leverage these local resources.
Red Bay Self Service RV Park operates on a "no-frills, self-service" model, which is a key part of its appeal and efficiency. The services offered are straightforward, designed to provide essential comforts and convenience:

- Level Concrete Pads: Reviews note that sites feature "all concrete pads, that are flat," making setup easy and stable for RVs of various sizes, including larger rigs (up to 32' or even 45' with towed vehicles).
- Self-Service Payment System: The park operates on an honor system. Guests simply pull in, set up, and deposit payment (check or cash) in a small building on site. This allows for flexible arrival times without needing to coordinate with staff.
- Reasonable Daily and Weekly Rates: The pricing is consistently praised as "reasonable" and "excellent," with options for daily or weekly payments, making it a cost-effective choice for both short and extended stays.
- Trash Disposal: Dumpsters are available on-site for convenient trash disposal, maintaining cleanliness within the park.

- Site Reservation Signs: Each site includes a "Reserve/Open" sign, allowing guests to indicate their site is reserved if they leave during the day with their camper, providing peace of mind and clarity for other potential arrivals.
These services, though basic, are precisely what RVers seeking efficiency and value appreciate.
Red Bay Self Service RV Park might be "no-frills," but it possesses several key features and highlights that consistently earn it high praise from its customers, especially those visiting Red Bay for specific purposes:
- Unbeatable Location for Tiffin Owners: This is arguably its biggest highlight. Its direct proximity and walkable distance to the Tiffin Service Center make it the ideal staging ground for anyone needing work done on their Tiffin motorhome. This convenience minimizes logistical hassles during a service visit.
- Exceptional Value: Reviewers repeatedly mention the "reasonable" and "excellent pricing," noting that "full hookups for $25 can't be beat." This makes it one of the most cost-effective options in the area.
- Quiet Environment: Despite its central location, the park is described as "quiet," offering a peaceful setting for rest and relaxation, a welcome feature for those spending long days at service centers.
- Ease of Use: The "self-service" model means guests can "just pull in set up and pay," providing a hassle-free arrival and departure experience without complex check-in procedures.
- Accessibility to Local Businesses: Beyond Tiffin, the park's location allows easy access to other specialized RV repair, maintenance, and detailing shops in the Red Bay ecosystem, as well as local dining options and a grocery store.
- Reliable Connectivity: While not providing its own Wi-Fi, reviews indicate that personal Google Fi routers and Starlink systems work well (with some minor tree restrictions for Starlink on certain sites), acknowledging the importance of staying connected.
- Thoughtful Touches: The provision of "nice picnic tables" and a clear "Reserve/Open" sign system on each site shows attention to practical details that enhance the guest experience.

Mar 05, 2024 · Kenneth DavisGreat location in Red Bay, easy walk to a couple of good food options. Easy in and out to get to Tiffin Service, 1st Class Glass, or any of the other local repair, maintenance, or detail shops. Excellent pricing, pay daily or by week. Trash dumpsters available and all sites include full hookups. My Google Fi router and Starlink both worked great, though Starlink is restricted on some sites due to trees. Nice little area for dog walking also.
Sep 05, 2023 · TL CooperGreat location to everything you would need while in Red Bay, or getting service with Tiffin. Nice gravel lot, sites are level and hook ups are very clean and well taken care of. Easy in and out with for motorhome and toad, there is an entrance in the front and rear of the park. Self service offcie only takes cash or check, we were in town for some work on our Tiffin and wasnt sure how many days we would be in town. We paid for our site before check out time each day other than the day of our service appointment at 8am. We left for our apppointment and the service didnt take as long as we thought, came back to the park to hook up our toad and change our reserved sign to open and come to find out someone had already changed it before check out time. I can understand if it was after check out time and we hadnt paied for that night, but it was well before check out time and we got no phone call to see if we needed the site anouther night. Over all great park and we will be back for sure, nightly rate $25.00 night for full hook and awesome water pressure.
Aug 07, 2020 · Benjamin HepnerWe stayed here while waiting for our coach to be worked on. The staff was nice. I think you'll need to be a Tiffin owner within the one year warranty period of your coach to stay at this RV park.
Aug 30, 2022 · A BThe people staying were friendly. Has everything you need if you don't have kids. The price is good $20-$25 with full hookups. It is unattended and occasionally the house near has small dogs that bark but not often. I give it a thumbs up. Be patience and expect a call back when calling for reservations.
