For RV owners residing in Alabama, Red Bay Acres offers a compelling option that caters to both practical needs and desires for a comfortable, amenity-rich experience. While some may compare its rates to coastal destinations, its suitability for locals lies in its unique offerings within the specific context of Red Bay.
Many Alabamians who own Tiffin motorhomes frequently visit Red Bay for factory service, and Red Bay Acres provides a superior lodging solution during these trips. The spacious sites, designed to comfortably accommodate large rigs, alleviate the common stress of tight maneuvering and cramped spaces often found in other parks. The presence of grass on the sites adds a touch of natural beauty and comfort that can significantly enhance a long-term stay.
The clubhouse is a standout feature for locals. Having a comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated indoor space with dining options means you don't always have to rely on Red Bay’s limited local eateries or cook in your RV. This amenity is particularly beneficial during less-than-ideal weather or when simply seeking a change of scenery. While the clubhouse hours might not be perpetual, its existence offers a valuable communal and recreational hub that many RV parks lack.
Furthermore, the added recreational features like the stocked fishing pond and pickleball court provide on-site entertainment, meaning locals don't have to venture far to find ways to pass the time. This is especially appealing for those with families or individuals who enjoy engaging in activities right at their campsite.
In a town primarily focused on RV service, Red Bay Acres stands out by offering a "luxury" experience that elevates the typical RV park stay. For Alabama residents who value comfort, space, and convenient on-site amenities, and who frequently visit Red Bay for RV-related reasons, Red Bay Acres presents itself as a top-tier choice that promises a more enjoyable and relaxing visit.

Red Bay Acres Reviews
Best RV park in Red Bay. Sites are spacioushave grass and long enough for our rig and pickup truck. Club house is very nice but kept too cold. They do have lap blankets available for use. You can oder food from a limited menu. I wanted a large ceasar salad at noon on a Tuesday, but they didn't have enough to make a large one. There are no restrooms except in the clubhouse which isn't open all the time.
Jun 11, 2025 · Kathy MchaneyWanted to stay here but this is a town with 2 red lights and 2 fast food joints. The rates they charge are the same rates I pay in pcb to be right across the street from the beach. They really need to reconsider their rates for a town that has nothing to offer. Their prices triple McFarland with all hook ups on the river.
Jun 14, 2025 · Mason KennamoreGreat RV Park next door to the Girard factory and a block from Tiffen. Nice store with very friendly staff and a restaurant on site. The chicken salad is bomb! Highly recommend.
May 02, 2025 · Kimmie HajdukMy rating is based on the cost which does not come close to the value of the resort. It does have a number of pros which are: 1.concrete pads 2. Pickle ball court 3. Dog area 4. Lounge area to sit 5. Office store combo. 5. Pond The cons are: 1. For the price there should be a swim pool. 2. Not enough eminities to justify the cost. 3. I did not appreciate how I was charged. The webb site showed a price much higher then my last stay. I called and was told that I could not even get the advertised webb page price because they had another increase. That is no way to run a business. 4. No laundry 5.No bathhouse 6.One needs to ask if it is really worth $72 a night. I have stayed at a lot of really nice resorts for that price. It is overpriced for the market. For my two nights at Red Bay Acres I could have stayed at any other campground in Red Bay for six nights for the same amount of money.
