Raccoon Valley at Volunteer Park Reviews
Wonderful, clean quiet place. The laundry room was great but needs new machines (washer & dryer) the price $1.25 to wash , $1.50 to dry but had to rewash and dry a few times. Buy new machines & increase the price so win win situation for both.Thank You
Apr 23, 2025 · Aubrey McNallyI live next door to this place. Clean, quiet, and beautiful walking trails. I walk them with my dog all the time. I love the fact that the trails are marked with colored flags on trees periodically to keep you on the right trail. They all go to the top of the ridge and circle back to where you started. They don't have rooms. It's exclusively RV's and campers.
Nov 23, 2024 · Jennifer BeaversNo longer an escapees park, price doubled from previous stops. Office was using new software, no longer had our information (we'd been stopping at this rv park for almost 20 years) office workers were unsure what they were doing. We did make a reservation, no one in office although we'd been told there would be. Paperwork was waiting for us, site not level side to side which caused issues setting up the rv. Since the price hike, not sure if we'll be using this rv park in the future.
Jan 14, 2025 · Cheryl SOur situation for staying was related to chemo and radiation treatments...we needed to move closer because home was 100 miles away. The location was convenient for our daily jaunts into Knoxville via 75. Fran, the office manager was SO compassionate, friendly and accommodating. She created us a tranquil location for peace, ambiance and convenience. We were backed up to the creek in the trees (a variety of birds, squirrel, chipmunks, bunnies and the occasional roaming kitties)! Our two cats, and ourselves, were adequately entertained....conducive to a perfect healing environment. The park is very well maintained, super clean and quiet even into the night. The laundry room is clean, convenient and affordable. We felt safe and welcomed during our 2 month-stay. We'd stay again in a heartbeat, just not for the same purpose.....treatment was successful and we're off for home with a good memory of Racoon Valley RV Park and the kind, professional and helpful woman who manages this park, Fran. She's a real earth angel!!!!
May 25, 2024 · Karen and Carroll HorstWe stayed here for 8 nights and loved it! The park is very clean and very quiet! The bathrooms and showers were also very clean! The location is very accessible and a short drive to north Knoxville. The park has a good size dog park! Fran, the manager, was very friendly and very approachable! The only slightly negatives are that the sites are close together and there is no pool. But, that being said, I never heard anyone arrive or leave while staying here! I will definitely stay here again next time I visit family in Knoxville! Thanks for everything, Fran and crew!
