- Affordable Rates: Reviewers consistently mention "fair price" and "amazingly reasonable rate," indicating a cost-effective option for overnight or short-term stays.

While R&M RV Park might be described as "nothing going on around the place" by one reviewer, implying a more subdued atmosphere, other comments shed light on what makes it suitable for certain types of travelers. Its features emphasize a functional and quiet environment for those primarily needing a place to park their RV and rest. Here are some key highlights:
- Quiet Environment: One reviewer specifically noted the ability to "hear frogs etc. :)," indicating a peaceful setting away from significant noise. This makes it a good choice for those seeking a tranquil night's sleep.
- Suitable for Passing Through Stays: Repeatedly described as a "Good place for a passing through stay," it caters well to transient RVers on a journey, providing essential services without unnecessary distractions.
- Fair Pricing: The consistency of reviews mentioning "fair price" suggests that the park offers good value for the basic services provided, appealing to budget-conscious travelers.
- Friendly Owner Interaction: Positive comments about the owner being "nice over the phone" and generally "nice" imply a welcoming and accommodating approach to guest relations, which can greatly enhance a stay.
- Basic Functionality: While the "obvious condition of most the RVs in the park" might suggest a mix of long-term residents and transient guests, the park primarily functions as a practical spot for RVers, focusing on the core utility of providing hookups.
However, it is crucial to address a significant concern raised in one review: "It was the dogs running all over the place. We literally couldn't let our dogs go potty without harassment from other dogs." This indicates a potential issue with unsupervised pets, which could be a major drawback for some visitors, especially those traveling with their own pets. While the park is noted as "pet-friendly" in some general listings for Pocahontas RV parks, this specific feedback suggests a potential challenge with managing pet behavior within the park. This is an important consideration for anyone traveling with animals and underscores the need for clear communication with the park management regarding pet policies and enforcement.
For those considering a stay at R&M RV Park, or to inquire about availability and specific park rules, especially regarding pets, direct contact with the park management is recommended. They can provide the most up-to-date information and address any specific concerns you might have before your visit. A direct conversation can help clarify expectations and ensure a pleasant stay.

R&M RV Park Reviews
The owner was nice over the phone. The price was fair. We don't even mind the obvious condition of most the RVs in the park. These people are busy. We can deal with all that. It was the dogs running all over the place. We literally couldn't let our dogs go potty without harassment from other dogs. We had to take our dogs out of the park to do their business. It's a shame. Putting this on our map to never return. Bye, Felicia.
