The appeal of mobile home living in Florida is multifaceted. It often allows for homeownership at a more accessible price point compared to traditional stick-built homes, freeing up financial resources for other pursuits. Many mobile home parks foster a strong sense of community, with residents often engaging in shared activities and looking out for one another. Paradise Village Tampa, like many communities of its kind, aims to provide this blend of affordability and camaraderie.
Living in a mobile home park can offer a unique blend of privacy and community engagement. This model can be very attractive for retirees, first-time homebuyers, or anyone looking to downsize and simplify their living arrangements in the Sunshine State. Understanding these fundamental aspects is crucial when considering a mobile home park as a long-term housing solution in Florida.

It is crucial for prospective residents to be fully aware of the experiences shared by current residents, as these provide a vital perspective on daily life within the community. Several reviews highlight significant concerns, including consistently rising and "overpriced lot rent" without commensurate improvements in services. Residents have reported "poor quality of roads," "constant issues" with water pressure or availability, and concerns about tree maintenance leading to homes being impacted during hurricanes. Communication challenges with maintenance staff due to language barriers have also been raised, impacting safety and resolution of issues.
Furthermore, residents express frustration over a perceived lack of action from management regarding complaints, such as persistent issues with neighbors' unkempt yards, illegally parked broken vehicles, and pet waste not being picked up. There is a strong sentiment that the rules imposed on homeowners are overly restrictive, diminishing the perceived benefits of owning one's home when management is not adequately addressing community-wide issues. Instances of late fees being charged during challenging times, such as after a hurricane, also point to a perceived lack of empathy or understanding from management.
However, it is also important to note a recent positive update from a resident who has found assistance from the General Manager, Yoanna, in addressing concerns. This suggests that there might be ongoing efforts by the management to improve resident relations and resolve issues, which is a positive development for the community. Despite the challenges mentioned, the underlying desire of residents to find solutions and improve their living conditions reflects a commitment to the community.
In conclusion, Paradise Village Tampa, as a mobile home park in Tampa, Florida, offers a distinct housing option within a bustling urban environment. Its location provides residents with convenient access to the myriad opportunities and attractions that the Tampa Bay area has to offer. For locals in Florida considering mobile home living, Paradise Village presents an avenue for homeownership with leased land, potentially offering a more affordable entry point into the housing market. However, it is paramount for interested individuals to conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the park, speaking with current residents if possible, and directly inquiring with the management about the specific concerns raised in recent reviews, such as lot rent fairness, road and utility maintenance, tree care, pet waste enforcement, and overall communication. The recent positive interaction with the GM suggests a potential for improvement, making direct engagement with the park's current management essential to determine if Paradise Village Tampa aligns with your expectations for a safe, well-maintained, and harmonious community.

Paradise Village Tampa Reviews
Overpriced lot rent and keeps going up every year. , nothing done about the poor quality of roads, water is constantly having issues (water pressure or water at all). Maintenance didn’t speak English which is not safe when something goes wrong and can’t communicate. I own my home. They shouldn’t be able to tell me what to do with it. Especially when they don’t take of the trees (on their land that we don’t own) (several trees took out homes during Hurricane because they don’t take care of them). Lawns are half taken care of, lot rent should cover all this and then some. They do nothing if you have issues. I own a home with too many rules. Can’t live. What’s the point of owning the home. During Hurricane was charged late fee instead of an understanding. Doesn’t feel safe in this neighborhood. Made several Complaints of dogs crapping in yard. Nothing done since I can’t give them the specific dog. Which is impossible I lost several shoes walking in the yard I pay a lot of money to rent. I don’t think the lot rent is fair. Get threat letters - yet they don’t take good use of the impossible lot rents they charge.
Feb 23, 2025 · LauraUPDATE!!!Recently I've been working in a few concerns with Yoanna the GM for the community and she has help me allot with the concerns that I had. Thank you Yoanna.I am a Homeowner from this mobile home park. I send several messages in regards how nasty my neighbors yard is not only that he parks his broken cars with exp tag and leave trash all around my main door that its disgusting and my other neighbor does not pick up after the dogs and they have pooped all over my area. If i could give a 0 start I would. I will be posting my home for sale. I think the management should be better and instead of giving violations for things that are not bad in vie they should start looking around better and have the cars removed when unlawful. My next complaint will be to Better Business Bureau.
May 22, 2025 · Glorisela Torres-DiazThe worst mobile home community in Tampa. And the worst neighbors you can find in this community. People who seem harmless but stab you in the back at the first opportunity and for no reason. If you have children, it is not safe. The streets are horrible. The landscaping guys do a terrible job. And the lot rent is more expensive than your mortgage. The office managers are abusive and unfriendly. This place does not deserve even one star.
Mar 07, 2025 · The GonzalezHas gone down hill over the years to the point they care more about what’s not in public view or bothering anybody then the ones parking on the roads blocking intersections that could lead to a fatality. More water shutoff issues than anywhere I know.
Jan 31, 2025 · Bryan CohnThis place scams people so bad! My personal experience was horrible. They charge a crazy amount for their lot rent bc of the pools and stuff but majority of the 2 yrs I lived there 1 of the pools was only open a handful amount of times. We were promised they would fix the drive way before moving in yet it's still not fixed to this day and any car that pulls up bottoms out and scrapes the ground. Their maintenance men installed a toilet into the mobile home but didn't check that the pipes were secure so we woke up one morning to half of the house flooded. It took me almost a year for them to get a company to even attempt to replace the damaged floors and they still didn't do that. They put linoleum down over water damaged, rotting wood causing black mold to get worse. The floor began to fall in because we got the run around for almost 2 years. We put $4,000 down for a trailer they made pretty but began to fall apart a few months after living in it. Their paperwork that you sign is full of ways to f you over if you walk away. Luckily for us we documented everything they did and got away from that place. I don't recommend it to anyone and if you do buy/move in make sure it's a brand new home.
