For Californians considering a mobile home or RV park in the Desert Hot Springs area, Palm Drive RV & Mobile Home Park presents a particular set of characteristics that might appeal to certain local users. The primary draw often lies in the affordability. In a state where housing costs can be exceptionally high, parks like Palm Drive can offer a more budget-friendly entry point into either RV living or manufactured home ownership. For those on a fixed income or seeking to minimize living expenses, the reported space rent, even with utility additions, may still be more manageable than other housing options in the region.
Furthermore, a significant highlight of Palm Drive RV & Mobile Home Park, as frequently noted by residents, is the friendly and welcoming community atmosphere. This environment can be especially appealing to those who value social connection and mutual support among neighbors.
However, it's crucial for prospective local residents to manage expectations, especially regarding the condition and functionality of amenities. While the park offers features like a pool and spa, recent reviews indicate that these, along with laundry and shower facilities, may be older and sometimes out of service. For locals prioritizing extensive, modern recreational facilities, other options in the area might be more suitable. Yet, for those who value affordability and a strong sense of community above premium, constantly updated amenities, Palm Drive RV & Mobile Home Park could indeed be a suitable choice. Its location in Desert Hot Springs also offers easy access to local conveniences and the unique benefits of the desert, including hot mineral springs and stunning natural landscapes. For a Californian seeking an accessible, community-focused place to call home, with the understanding that it represents an older, more established community, Palm Drive RV & Mobile Home Park offers a distinct living experience.

Palm Drive RV & Mobile Home Park Reviews
Not sure why anybody would want to stay here to be honest. When I was there, some women who was in charge was on an eviction spree. Everything was broken and older than dirt itself and like i said, the staff didnt care about anybody there. The people who lived there were very friendly but the people in charge would treat them bad, why? Because they were, "old and crazy". These are the folks that paid your bills my dear. Just sayin.
Jan 13, 2023 · Ace Dontlie$537 + utilities, dirt streets, 1 shower, 2 washers, 2 dryers, small pool not working, and a broken spa with no pump or heater. Tough entrance due to heavy traffic. Many nicer RV parks in this area that are cheaper and offer better amenities. Keep looking! Manager Ken not much help! I moved to a much nicer community and only pay $460. Still waiting for deposit from Palm Dr RV...over a month ago.
Sep 29, 2022 · Teryl StickneyI ordered some food to eat there. I tipped ahead. The Waitress told me that I had to go pick up my food in 20 minutes. I went and check in with bar tender and asked her if order was for here. Just to make sure. My receipt said DINING . but I was wondering why I got my drinks in a foam cup. When I went back to get my food waitress handled my food to go. I told her . No. It was to eat thereShe said. No. U ordered at the counter so the food is to go. 😔😡then she grabbed the bag and hang it to me in my wrists and walked away. I was so upset. Cause she was so rude. I asked a bus boy or wash Fisher to ask the cook to put my food on plates. He said to ask the waitress to do it. She was just ignoring me. I had to get the bag of my food I take it outside. Plus food wasn't that presentable. I had steak platter. And 2 California burgers. I paid $58 plus I had no bread with my steak dinner. Veggies were terrible . I called it racist. Cause it was a white lady there. She ate outside as well. And the waitress took her food to her table. Gave 2 more trips. Plus she told customer she will be back to check on her🧐🤓It was my first time there cause a friend recommended it. But for me it was a really bad experience.
Jul 13, 2019 · Regia VillaLove this park. They got rid of the old manager and replaced her with Frances. She is very nice, hardworking, and takes care of her tenants. I stayed for a month and loved it. The pool is clean and the on-site amenities are great. I highly recommend this park.
