However, like any community, individual experiences can vary, and prospective residents should be aware of all facets of community life before committing.
This article aims to provide a factual and balanced overview of Outback RV Park, drawing directly from customer reviews. We understand that residents in Texas prioritize not only affordability and convenience but also a safe, respectful, and well-managed environment. We will delve into the various aspects of the park, highlighting its reported advantages, such as accessible owners and security measures, as well as a significant concern raised by a former resident regarding community interactions and how certain situations were handled. This information is intended to help you, our fellow Texans, make an informed decision when considering Outback RV Park as your next home or storage solution.
Outback RV Park is located at 2520 E Hwy 199, Springtown, TX 76082, USA. Springtown, a growing community in Parker County, offers a blend of rural charm and practical access to larger metropolitan areas, including Fort Worth. This strategic location provides residents with the tranquility of a smaller town environment while ensuring that essential services and amenities are within a reasonable drive.
The park’s address directly on E Highway 199 signifies excellent accessibility for RVs of all sizes. This convenient highway frontage simplifies arrivals and departures, making journeys to and from the park as smooth as possible. Residents benefit from straightforward access to local conveniences such as grocery stores, dining options, and other essential services within Springtown. For those who may commute for work or desire to visit the vibrant centers of Fort Worth, the direct highway access facilitates manageable travel. This combination of a relatively peaceful setting and good accessibility makes Outback RV Park a practical option for both transient visitors and those seeking a long-term base for their RV in Texas.
Outback RV Park & Storage aims to provide essential services for RV residents and those needing additional storage. Based on the provided customer feedback, the park offers fundamental amenities with some highlighted benefits, though a detailed understanding of all services requires direct inquiry. Here are the key services implied or mentioned:
RV Spot Rentals: The primary service involves providing spaces for RVs, implying the availability of necessary hookups such as electricity, water, and sewer connections. Reviews highlight the "very reasonable" rent, suggesting an affordable option for RV living.
On-Site Rental Storage Units: A significant convenience, the park offers "rental storage units on site to stow your extra stuff." This is a valuable amenity for long-term residents or those with additional belongings.
Security Measures: The presence of "Security cameras" is mentioned, contributing to a perceived sense of safety within the park.
Owner Residency and Accessibility: The "Owners live on property," which suggests a hands-on approach to management and potentially quicker response times for issues, as they are physically present.
However, it is crucial to address a concerning incident described in one review, which raises questions about how specific situations, particularly those involving disputes or sensitive information, are managed:
Management of Tenant Information/Disputes: A former resident detailed a negative experience involving a lock on their storage unit after paying overdue fees. The incident escalated into a confrontation with "obviously drunk individuals" who seemingly had knowledge of the resident's payment status, leading to threats and an alleged siding with these individuals by management. This highlights potential issues with privacy, conflict resolution, and ensuring a safe environment free from harassment, especially when personal information might be involved in public disputes.
The features and highlights of Outback RV Park present a contrast between its stated benefits and a significant negative incident reported by a former resident. Understanding both sides is crucial for prospective residents:
On-Site Owner Presence: A major positive highlight is that the "Owners live on property." This fosters a direct connection between management and residents, ideally leading to a more responsive and caring environment. Residents describe them as "nicest people you'd want to have for neighbors and landlords."
Enhanced Security: The presence of "Security cameras" is a reassuring feature, contributing to the feeling of safety among residents, as do "good neighbors" who contribute to a secure community.
Reasonable Rent: Rent at Outback RV Park is described as "very reasonable," making it an attractive option for those looking for affordable RV living solutions in the Springtown area.
Convenient On-Site Storage: The availability of "rental storage units on site" is a practical highlight, offering residents easy access to additional space for their belongings.
Overall Sense of Home (for some): One resident enthusiastically states, "Couldn't find a better place to call home!", indicating a high level of satisfaction and a strong sense of belonging.
However, a critical incident detailed in one review presents a significant counterpoint:
Community Conflict and Management Response: The report of being confronted, verbally abused, and threatened by "obviously drunk individuals" over a private financial matter, and the management allegedly "siding with these drunk individuals" and implying their right to know private financial information ("the lock had been put there for failure to pay"), is a severe concern. This incident suggests potential issues with maintaining a respectful and safe community environment, protecting resident privacy, and effective conflict resolution, particularly after hours or in sensitive situations.

According to public information, their office hours are Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Saturday - Sunday: Call for an appointment. Outback RV Park in Springtown, Texas, presents a mixed opportunity for Texans seeking RV living and storage solutions. On one hand, it offers compelling advantages: "very reasonable" rent, convenient "rental storage units on site," and the reassuring presence of owners who "live on property" and are described as "nicest people you'd want to have for neighbors and landlords." The existing "Security cameras" also contribute to a perceived sense of safety for some residents, fostering an environment where some can confidently "call home."
However, it is crucial for any Texan considering this park to acknowledge and thoroughly investigate the significant concern raised by a former resident regarding a severe confrontation involving other individuals and the park's management. The details of alleged harassment, verbal abuse, threats, and a perceived disregard for privacy and safety in a dispute involving payment information, highlight potential challenges in community management and conflict resolution. While the park offers affordability and convenience, potential residents, especially those prioritizing a consistently tranquil and secure environment free from disruptive conflicts, should engage in extensive due diligence. This includes direct discussions with management about their policies for resident conduct, privacy, and dispute resolution, and potentially speaking with current residents to gain a more comprehensive and current understanding of the community environment before making a commitment.

Owners live on property nicest people you'd want to have for neighbors and landlords. Security cameras and good neighbors make you feel safe. Rent is very reasonable and rental storage units on site to stow your extra stuff. Couldn't find a better place to call home!
Sep 19, 2018 · Nancy McKeeOutback RV Park and Storage.before you consider renting an RV spot or a storage container from this place you might consider this....I was a couple of months behind on my storage fees. I paid almost $300 to bring my balance to zero. I was told the lock would be removed and i informed the owners that i had lost my keys to the storage and that i would have to cut the lock ( the one that belonged to me) off.I went after work( just after dark) to cut my lock off and replace it with a new one i had bought. When i got to my storage i noticed their lock was still in place. I decided to wait until the am when the office was open and i could let them.remove their lock.Instead of being able to leave though i was confronted by more than one obviously drunk individuals who proceeded to cuss me..call me every name in the book ( including the c word)..accused of all kinds of things and one lady even refused to step away from my vehicle so that i could leave. There were 3 vehicles blocking my exit and i was threatened with violence. I did not know any of these people. The management proceeded to side with these drunk individuals citing that the lock had been put there for failute to pay. If not mistaken..that was not these individuals business to know my information.
