Oak Creek Village Introduce
In today's economy, finding accessible and affordable housing options is a significant consideration for many Oklahomans. Oak Creek Village, a mobile home park located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, serves as a living solution for numerous hardworking families. Mobile home parks like Oak Creek Village provide a unique housing model where individuals and families can reside in manufactured homes, often at a more accessible price point than traditional stick-built housing, while benefiting from a community environment.
The concept of a mobile home park is to offer a dedicated space where manufactured homes can be placed, and residents typically lease the land. This approach can make homeownership more attainable and provide a stable living situation for those who might otherwise struggle to find suitable accommodations. Oak Creek Village, as described by its residents, is a place that many call home, representing a practical choice for those navigating the current housing market. Our aim here is to provide a factual and comprehensive overview of Oak Creek Village, highlighting its characteristics to help prospective residents in Oklahoma understand what this community offers.
Oak Creek Village is located at 2447 N Erie Ave, Tulsa, OK 74115, USA. This address places the mobile home park within the vibrant and diverse city of Tulsa, offering residents access to a wide array of urban amenities, services, and employment opportunities. Its position on N Erie Ave suggests it is situated within a residential area, providing a neighborhood feel despite being in a major city.
The accessibility of Oak Creek Village to key areas of Tulsa is a mixed bag, as highlighted by some resident feedback. While its address puts it within Tulsa, potential residents should be aware of the internal road conditions. Reviews mention "very rough speed bumps" and "massively deep potholes all over the roads," which can impact daily commutes within the complex itself. This suggests that while external access to Tulsa's thoroughfares and attractions is generally available, the internal navigation might present challenges for vehicles. Despite these internal concerns, the location within Tulsa means residents are typically within reasonable driving distance of grocery stores, schools, healthcare facilities, and various employment hubs across the city. Understanding both the external accessibility to Tulsa and the internal navigability of the park is important for prospective residents.
Mobile home parks typically provide a set of fundamental services to facilitate comfortable living for their residents. For Oak Creek Village, based on the general operations of such communities and insights from resident feedback, the services likely include:
Lot Leases: The primary service involves leasing out individual plots of land to residents for their manufactured homes. This lease covers the right to occupy the specific lot and access to shared park amenities and infrastructure.
Utility Connections: Each lot is generally equipped with connections for essential utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity. Residents typically arrange for their own utility services and are responsible for their individual bills.
Management Oversight: There is a management team responsible for the overall operation of the park, including rent collection and enforcement of community rules. However, feedback suggests that the property's upkeep by management could be significantly improved.
Basic Infrastructure Maintenance (with caveats): While basic infrastructure like roads exists, resident reviews point to inconsistencies in maintenance, particularly concerning potholes and speed bumps, which can impact daily convenience and vehicle wear.
Grounds Maintenance (inconsistent): The review explicitly mentions that "the grass surrounding the vacant lots isn't mowed consistently," leading to concerns about pest habitats. This indicates that while some level of grounds maintenance may be provided, its consistency and quality, particularly for unoccupied areas, could be improved.
Prospective residents should always directly inquire about the specific services included in the lot rent and any additional fees, and gain clarity on the park's maintenance schedule and policies.
Oak Creek Village presents several features that define the living experience for its residents. These highlights, and some areas for consideration, include:
Affordable Living: A significant highlight is its role as a place for "hardworking families" where it's "the best that can be done right now" in today's economy. This indicates that Oak Creek Village provides a crucial and often more affordable housing solution for many in Tulsa.
Quiet Neighborhood: Despite other concerns, the park is described as a "pretty quiet neighborhood" for the most part. This suggests that residents can enjoy a degree of peace and tranquility, which is a desirable quality in any living environment.
Community of Hardworking Families: The presence of "many hardworking families" suggests a resilient and dedicated community, fostering a sense of shared experience among residents.
Vehicle Accessibility Concerns: A major drawback highlighted by a reviewer is the condition of the internal roads, with "very rough speed bumps" and "massively deep potholes." This can make daily driving within the park an "unenjoyable experience" and potentially cause wear and tear on vehicles.
Property Upkeep Issues: Reviews point to areas where property maintenance could be improved, including inconsistent mowing of vacant lots, which contributes to "a nice habitat for field mice and mosquitoes." The presence of "dilapidated trailers that are vacant and broke down cars everywhere" also indicates a need for better property management and enforcement of community standards.
Unmanaged Animal Population: The observation of "cats and kittens everywhere and no one owns any of them" suggests an issue with stray animals, which can be a concern for residents in terms of cleanliness, noise, and potential health issues.
It is highly advisable for potential residents to visit the park in person to assess the current conditions, especially regarding roads, vacant lots, and overall cleanliness, and to directly inquire about the management's plans for addressing these issues.

Oak Creek Village Reviews
It is a place to live and there are a lot of homeless people in the world today. Many hardworking families reside here and in today's economy it's the best that can be done right now. However, the property can be kept up so much better than the managers are doing. There are cats and kittens everywhere and no one owns any of them. The grass surrounding the vacant lots isn't mowed consistently which causes a nice habitat for field mice and mosquitoes. There are quite a few dilapidated trailers that are vacant and broke down cars everywhere. For the most part it is a pretty quiet neighborhood.
Aug 22, 2018 · Sarah JaQuayThe drive through the apartment complex wasn't a ln enjoyable experience by no means. There are too many very rough speed bumps (that look like their meant to be made that way to intentionally mess up ones car), spaced from 15 to 20 feet apart from each other thought the complex, which is fairly big considering the roads. I almost to forgot mention the massively deep potholes all over the roads as well! Decent apartments but toe it's not worth driving in and out of there everyday to work and back home, it would depressing to pull into the complex each time arriving home. It sucks because the apartments are very spacious and remodeled, they look nice!
Dec 05, 2022 · Aron MoranRoads are garbage, people are ok. Its a cheap place to live in relative to my previous living locations. The roads are a serious problem. Its difficult to walk to the mailbox because all the loose asphalt gets in your shoes. Its worse if you wear sandals!
Dec 12, 2020 · Chaika LerchenliedAs far as mobile home parks go this is the worst one you could possibly find. They raise your rent when they have a financial problem. These folks are one of the worst of folks you could ever do business with. They do no maintenance other than cut grass on the unused lot 200 a month it's insane
