Northwoods Village Mature RV Introduce
Northwoods Village Mature RV Park stands as an established residential and RV community nestled in a highly convenient area of Colorado Springs, offering a rare blend of central city access and a genuinely quiet, peaceful atmosphere. This dual-purpose park caters to both manufactured home owners seeking long-term placement and RV enthusiasts who require full utility hookups for an extended stay in the Pikes Peak region.
The park is characterized by its mature, settled environment, often likened by residents to a tranquil campground setting. This quiet nature, combined with its accessibility to all the attractions and amenities of Colorado Springs, makes it a highly appealing option for those seeking stability without sacrificing location. The community prides itself on being a mature setting, which translates into a serene and low-key residential experience for its tenants and guests.
With 143 sites available for mobile homes and RVs, the park ensures that essential infrastructure is in place. The focus here is on providing a functional, utility-rich environment rather than an array of recreational facilities, appealing directly to self-sufficient individuals and long-term residents. However, as with any established park, prospective tenants are strongly advised to conduct thorough personal inspection and due diligence, especially regarding reported community maintenance issues, to ensure the environment aligns with their safety and maintenance expectations.

Northwoods Village boasts an enviable location at I14, 3100 Wood Ave m1, Colorado Springs, CO 80907, USA. This address places it centrally within the northern section of Colorado Springs, providing residents with excellent connectivity to major roads and local services. The prime location ensures that residents are never far from everything the city has to offer.
The accessibility of the area is a key feature. Residents benefit from quick access to I-25, simplifying travel north toward Denver or south toward Pueblo. More locally, the park is conveniently located near an abundance of shopping and dining options, essential for long-term residency. Most notably, iconic natural attractions, such as the **Garden of the Gods**, are only approximately three miles away, offering world-class hiking and scenery just minutes from home.
The location on Wood Avenue, while central, allows the park to maintain a quiet atmosphere, noted by tenants who compare it to a serene campground setting. The design of the park is geared toward accommodating RVs up to 60 feet in length, meaning the internal roads are suitable for navigating and positioning larger units, a significant benefit for owners of modern, spacious recreational vehicles.

The services offered at Northwoods Village are concentrated on providing comprehensive utility provision and essential functional facilities, which is crucial for both mobile home owners and long-term RV guests. The park ensures that every unit can operate fully and comfortably:
- **Full Utility Hookups:** All 143 sites are equipped for full hookups, offering the highest level of utility convenience. This includes necessary **water** connections, **sewer** access, and **electric hookups**, with the capacity to provide **50 amp service** for modern, large RVs.
- **Accommodation for Large Rigs:** The sites are designed to accommodate a maximum RV length of 60 feet, catering to owners of the largest contemporary recreational vehicles.
- **Sanitation:** The park provides essential **toilets** (restroom facilities) for community use.
- **Residential Focus:** The community primarily serves as a fixed location for manufactured home owners, offering stable lot leases.
- **Support:** The park is accessible via phone at **(719) 633-7564** or mobile phone at **+1 719-633-7564** for inquiries regarding availability and services.
The service model emphasizes practical, continuous utility supply. However, based on tenant feedback, a critical part of the 'service offered' includes the management's responsiveness to maintenance requests. The reported failure of the ownership group and management to promptly address a potentially dangerous, unpermitted structure (gazebo on Lot M-10) is a crucial factual consideration of the management services provided. Prospective residents should assess the management's current maintenance and safety protocols diligently.

The features and highlights of Northwoods Village are centered on its serene atmosphere, its capacity for large rigs, and its convenient urban placement, providing a valuable residential niche in the Colorado Springs area:
- **Quiet, Campground-like Atmosphere:** Despite its central location, the park maintains a peaceful, quiet environment, highly valued by long-term tenants seeking a retreat from urban noise.
- **Full 50 Amp Hookups:** The availability of robust **50 amp electric service** is a major benefit for modern RVs, ensuring all on-board appliances and multiple air conditioners can run efficiently.
- **Pet-Friendly Policy:** The community welcomes **Dogs allowed**, accommodating the many Colorado residents who travel and live with their pets.
- **Exceptional Local Proximity:** The park is within a short driving distance of major commercial centers, military bases, and the unparalleled natural beauty of **Garden of the Gods**.
- **Mature Community:** The implication of a "Mature RV" park suggests a settled, less transient environment, often appealing to older adults or those seeking long-term stability.
- **Long-Term Tenancy:** The nature of the park, housing long-term mobile home owners, contributes to a stable community structure.
A necessary feature highlight for due diligence is the serious issue raised by a long-term tenant concerning an **unsafe, unpermitted structure** and the alleged lack of timely management response. While the community is praised for its quiet nature, any prospective resident must recognize that community safety standards and management's maintenance follow-through are critical features that must be verified on a personal level before committing to a tenancy.

Northwoods Village Mature RV Park is worth choosing for the discerning individual or couple prioritizing **location, full utilities, and quiet stability** in a desirable Colorado Springs neighborhood. The decision to choose this park should rest on these critical advantages:
- **Central Location, Quiet Living:** The unique combination of being close to central Colorado Springs amenities and attractions while maintaining a peaceful, quiet, non-transient atmosphere is a major asset for long-term residents.
- **Big Rig Ready:** The assurance of large sites and **50 amp full hookups** means even the largest, most modern manufactured homes and RVs can be accommodated comfortably and with full power capacity.
- **Established Community:** The park is an established fixture in the area, offering a sense of stability and community that contrasts with short-term, seasonal campgrounds.
However, the commitment to the park must be balanced against the reported management failure regarding structural safety. Prospective residents are strongly advised to request written assurance from management that all cited safety concerns have been officially inspected and fully remediated. If the maintenance and management issues are resolved, Northwoods Village offers an excellent, quiet, and well-located option for stable, long-term mobile home and RV placement in the Front Range.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- I have owned a mobile home in this park for the past 9 years. Been a top tenant, never been late on rent, never filed a complaint and never had a complaint filed against me. To all patrons in this park, Be advised the park owners, Burton A. Kalniz, Charles H. Sallah and Gregory A. Maceau and there management team have no regard for your safety. They have been put on notice for the removal of the unsafe gazebo structure in Lot M-10. This structure has no foundation and was built with substandard lumber and NO BUILDING PERMIT. Be advised that the possible collapse of this building is a threat to life and the entire Lot M-10 should be cordoned off until the removal of this structure. This is also NOT a parking structure and creates other safety issues to the neighboring Mobile Homes. January 10 · Bob Ford
- Very quiet place to live kind of reminds me of like a campground without having fires March 31 · Chris Turturillo
- Lived there for nearly two years with my family. Had 0 problems with the manager until the park failed to properly insulate our water and decided to blame us when it froze then burst. This was not the only water to freeze in the park by the way. Their were in fact 3 other frozen lines. The manager approached me by showing up at my RV past hours and accuse and verbally assault me in front of my 2 year old and wife. Then he assaulted my 56 year old disabled neighbor. The video of the event makes it clear that a certain comment is 100% Grade A BS. Talk to the older residents and you'll hear things I didn't believe. Nobody was actually evicted as well. Just a BS stack of paperwork that wasn't signed by the court or the processor. The people who left did so to flee from the tyranny of some twisted individuals. Move here at your own risk. It's a dirty rundown place that may have been nice 15-20 years ago. February 26 · Daniel Anthony (Snowcrash)
- I have visited Northwoods many times over the years. I must say, current management is doing everything possible to clean up and get rid of the trashy people. The park is running better now than in years. It's obvious the negative reviews are from disgruntled trash who aren't welcome there anymore. Who attacks children in online reviews? That in itself shows the kind of people residing there. February 17 · Brenda Rudd
- Well, Heather! Just so happens you are living & sleeping with the so called manager Brian!!!! Of course you are going to give the park5stars! You have to! Doesn't matter that you helped him&"crew"steal from a disabled women! Can only assume her money went to the2 of you to pay for your drug habits! I& others can only feel sorry for you! Life has a way of coming full circle. Northwood village mobile home park is a huge joke with horrible ownership& management! December 08 · ore Red
