Nantahala RV Resort & Campground Reviews
Very dissatisfied. Location was advertised as a “resort”. NOT!! It is an “ok” campground but certainly not a resort. The wi-fi was totally inadequate and unreliable. Photos of the picnic table on my site are an example of what the location has to offer. There is no office, camp store or support staff anywhere. Even booking the site was a huge chore. Way over priced for what the campground has to offer. Only thing I can say good is that the location was convenient to local activities.Signed: very unhappy camper!
Jun 29, 2025 · Del StokesVery quiet and peaceful, but not far from adventures and grocery stores. I ride, and the roads around here are fun to explore. I also hike, and there are plenty of trails nearby, a general store is walking distance from the Campsites and a church is right across the street if you want to start your Sunday there. NOC(Nantahala Outdoor Center is just over a mile away and has plenty to do. I will be back, hopefully soon. Oh yeah, the bathroom was cleaned regularly and the laundry room is too .
May 24, 2024 · Mick SmithBasic - but clean and nice camping spot. Our spot was right in the creek - which was amazing- super loud creek, that drowned out any neighbor noises. Camp host {Kevin} was super friendly. Campground had WiFi - enough we were able to stream a show every now & then. Bath houses were clean - my only complaint was that it was close to a road and passing by car headlights occasionally shown into our camper (thankfully it was not a busy road). A big bonus - was that we pulled out AS with a Rivian and we were able to use the 50 amp service to charge the truck! We would go back!
Oct 14, 2024 · Brooke barkerVery clean bathroom/shower building. There's a code on the door, that feels more secure. Site was fairly level. Sites are close together, and campground is a large gravel lot. We loved the creek. We also loved how close it is to Bryson City, Cherokee, and the Great Smoky Mountains NP. Beautiful area.
Jun 02, 2025 · Danielle NealWe had a great experience with Nantahala RV Resort & Campground. We needed a spot to park our 40 foot and 26 foot trailers and it was perfect! Price was great! Great amenities (water, electric, sewer, bathrooms, trash disposal)! The owner was very easy to communicate with. We had to extend our stay and it was stress free. Convenient location. Definitely recommend!
