Based on available public information and common practices within mobile home communities, Mountain Village Community typically focuses on providing value through its established amenities and consistent services rather than frequent, short-term "promotions" in the commercial sense. The primary "offer" for prospective residents lies in the opportunity for affordable homeownership within a managed community.
However, it's important for potential residents to be aware of the operational aspects that influence costs. Reviews indicate that lot rent increases have been a recurring concern for long-term residents. While this is a common practice in many manufactured housing communities to cover operational costs, maintenance, and potentially new developments, it's a point of consideration for those on fixed incomes. The increases are not presented as "special offers" but rather as part of the ongoing cost of living in the community.
Potential residents interested in Mountain Village Community should inquire directly about current lot rent rates, the frequency of increases, and what those increases contribute to. While there aren't advertised "specials" like discounted first months of rent or move-in bonuses, the value often lies in the long-term stability and amenities offered. It is advisable to discuss all financial aspects transparently with the management team during the inquiry process to ensure a full understanding of the costs associated with living in the community. They may be able to provide details on available homes for purchase or rent and any associated terms.

It is highly recommended to call the management team directly to get the most accurate and up-to-date information. They can provide details on current home availability, lot rent specifics, community rules, and arrange a tour of the premises. Given that residents have noted concerns about power outages during storms, it would also be prudent to inquire about the community's infrastructure improvements and emergency response plans, especially if reliable power is a critical concern for medical equipment. Direct communication will allow prospective residents to have all their questions answered thoroughly and to determine if Mountain Village Community aligns with their living preferences and needs.
For Pennsylvanians, particularly those in the Lehigh Valley region, Mountain Village Community offers a distinctive and often appealing living option. Its suitability for locals stems from several key factors, blending the tranquility of a country setting with convenient access to essential amenities and recreational opportunities. For individuals and families seeking a quieter lifestyle away from the urban bustle, the community's peaceful atmosphere, mature trees, and rolling hills provide an ideal backdrop for everyday living.
The established nature of the community, with many long-term residents, fosters a sense of stability and neighborly connection. This can be particularly attractive for those looking for a place where they can truly feel at home and become part of a welcoming environment. The presence of amenities like a playground and basketball court also makes it a viable option for families with children, ensuring there are spaces for outdoor activity within the community itself.
Furthermore, its strategic location near Macungie means residents aren't isolated. Quick drives to Allentown and Reading provide access to work, extensive shopping, dining, and healthcare facilities. The close proximity to Bear Creek Mountain Ski Resort is a significant bonus for winter sports enthusiasts, offering easy access to recreational pursuits. While concerns about lot rent increases and infrastructure reliability during storms have been raised by some residents, these are important points to discuss directly with management. For many, the consistent and professional maintenance of common grounds, snow-plowed streets, and the availability of 24-hour maintenance are valuable services that contribute to a comfortable and convenient living experience. Ultimately, for those prioritizing a serene setting, community feel, and accessible location within Pennsylvania, Mountain Village Community presents a compelling and affordable pathway to homeownership and a peaceful lifestyle.

Mountain Village Community Reviews
Been here forever almost 3 years we live our home and our street is nice and Quiet, just hate the fact that each year lot rent increases , with no upgrades to the park, I'm sure the $$$ made from the increase went to construction for the new homes, that does not benefit any of the residents here .
Apr 14, 2025 · Doug KramerLived here for almost 12 years. Lots of issues with water, electric going out during storms. If that's not enough, they have declared more space for more mobile homes to go in. They need to address the electricity issues first. Especially for the elderly that live here and are on breathing machines. I can't tell you how many times our neighbors had to book a motel so they can at least have a power source for their machine. These people are on a fixed income.
Dec 11, 2024 · LoriI've lived here since 2017 and the lot rent increases rapidly without the park being properly taken care of the park is always a mess and needs a serious makeover. Tree's in the back of my house recently fell down on my neighbors shed (this falls on the land owner) after years of asking something be done with them and no response. This year even though the economy is struggling rent increases $50. I love my house but I will be looking for some where else to put it.
Mar 06, 2022 · sunshine raeI just moved in everything has been good. At this time I have only met my one neighbor. I will come back an add things as time passes.UPDATE: ok I have been here for a few months an let me tell you I have had a few issues an when I call the office they took the time to listen to my concerns an maintenance report. Maintenance came fast an the younger feller was great. This is the first time I’ve rented from someone and not had an issue with. It’s nice to know that you are not just a dollar figure to them. Keep up all the fantastic work 😁😄😃🤪
Mar 10, 2023 · Stephen W Roney JrUpdate:After posting my experience, I received a call from management. They were concerned and went over with me what I saw. Nice that I was listened to and that meant a lot to me and my family. Other than that unfortunate event, love living here.Been here for approximately 10 months. I like the quietness and serene area that we live in. I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately am seeing political signs on the yard that make me feel uncomfortable and fearing for my family. I have great neighbors and like that they acknowledge us with respect and we respectfully acknowledge back. I hope the park management will do something if not we will definitely have to rethink staying here.
