★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Park is clean, well managed (Jay is awesome!) and quiet. We part-time rented for two months with our RV while in town visiting our Grandbabies and our experience was far greater than we expected.
October 13 · Art KyserThey have been super awesome. They are really trying to clean it up. Stephanie, the manager, has been wonderful and kind and was extremely helpful with getting my kids squared away.
May 12 · Diona HendricksIve lived in this park for 8 years and the transformation that mountain view has been doing is awesome. Park manager Jay and his wife Virginia work tirelessly everyday to make improvements for residents like me and the temporary RV residents I took them up on the credit deal to paint my trailer and as promised I received the monthly credit and not only that the value of my trailer has increased greatly. I hope everyone in the park jumps at this opportunity! I also feel safer here knowing Jay the resident park manager is on the job! Also the new mailboxes are amazing! Keep up the good work and thankyou!
June 03 · Lori YorkWe travel for work and due to availability at other parks we had no choice but to stay here. First of all, took weeks to get back to us and then only told us the lot number, so we showed up having never seen the lease or even knowing the rent amount. Upon arrival there was no lot number clearly posted therefore we had to go around the blocks numerous times before finally guessing which lot was ours. This place was unlike any RV park we had ever stayed at. For the same cost all around the US we've had 10 times better experiences.Where to begin....I want to say Jay (property manager) and his wife are WONDERFUL. From what I understand the owner/company is the problem. To start, you should know, most of the RV lots are MUD. No pavement/concrete whatsoever. When we finally left we had to dig our camper and leveling mechanisms out of 5 inches of mud just from sitting there for a few months. First day there I met with Jay to sign the lease. This is when I learned that we would be responsible for yard maintenance. I live in a camper, am I supposed to tote around a mower to maintain an 8x8 ft or less yard? Every RV park (long term) I've stayed at has paid for routine lawn care. Jay did offer his mower for us to use, but we declined because there are numerous liability issues that could occur. When I applied I included information on our dog including the fact that he was not neutered (too young), only to find out in the lease that all pets must be neutered. I was also told (not in the lease) that pets should be attached to owners at all times which is an unrealistic expectation, the most you should require is that the pet be on a leash under owner supervision. I'm not going to walk my dog in circles around my 8x8 patch of mud and weeds 5 times a day when I can attach him to an anchored lead and watch him run back and forth for 20 minutes from my lawn chair. In addition, in the application I included that we had 2 vehicles. Our lot (only available lot) was only accommodating to 1 vehicle. Therefore my fiancé had to park halfway in the street, not to mention blocking my vehicle in. This meant each time I needed to use my vehicle when he was home, we had to play musical vehicles to get one out without blocking the road with the other.A couple of issues occurred during our stay:1. water line issues. There was some issues with waterlines throughout the park. Rather than paying professionals to come find the issue, they had their part-time property manager out there digging random holes. There was 1 very large (hazardous) hole when we arrived, and 3 more that were dug up (1 of which was in my yard, was never filled back in) during our time there.2. Tree Limbs. Thankfully our property was never damaged by the extremely (brushing my [5ft 7in] head) low hanging branches, however I know my next door neighbor has MULTIPLE dents on her car from the dead branches that fall during wind or rainstorms.3. Poor drainage. Standing water attracting insects in areas where holes had been dug up and never filled in, or areas where landscaping has been neglected. The owner/company clearly could not care less about protecting their investment here. I am aware that individually these are minor issues, but when added together, this makes for a very unpleasant and frustrating experience. Not to mention, they are raising the rent without implementing or improving ANY additional or current amenities. I think most of the long term people live here because they have no choice/it is the cheapest option. But COME ON in all of our travels and staying at long term places I have never seen a place so run down and neglected. The company doesn't care about their tenants whatsoever, if they did they would invest a little more into taking care of them. There are a lot of elderly folks living around here and although they are more responsible for their lots because they have lived there longer, the least this company could do is have a regular lawn care team mowing and tree trimmers taking care of the branches. That's the LEAST you can do Mountain View!
September 23 · Summer HarperI've lived in this park for 7 years. And I have to give it to Jay and his family for cleaning this place up. It's beginning to look alot more like a welcoming environment then the previous drug Ville it used to be. Keep up the good work!
