★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Bryan and Teresa are wonderful owners and hosts. they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The park was very well kept, quiet, and friendly. They have chickens and you can buy fresh eggs right there on site. There is a propane refill, filtered water and ice machine, and even a back gate that goes out to dirt roads through farmlands (which was perfect for biking!) we have a 40' fifth wheel and it was an easy fit. Sites were very good sized also with plenty of room between neighbors and beautiful trees for shade. We'll definitely be back!
June 22 · Jessica Anderson GrimmMountain Valley Meadows is a lovely, clean, small RV park in Hotchkiss, Colorado with lots of green space to enjoy. They are very welcoming to dogs and families of all ages. This was our first time visiting Colorado and the owners (Brian and Theresa) were so personable as they helped us settle into our site after a long three day trek to get there from northern Indiana. The amenities onsite (shower rooms/restrooms, laundry facilities, ice/water station, dump station and propane fill stations) were all well kept. Rates are very reasonable for all that is available. Our site was ideal with full water, electric and sewer hookups. We loved the quiet and beautiful scenery we enjoyed from our site as well as the kind neighbors around us.The camp host (Cliff) was top notch as he shared with us a beautifully scenic route for our trip back east through the Monarch Pass. Wow! Breathtakingly beautiful!!! A definite go to place for our family the next time we are in Colorado. Thanks SO much, Brian and Theresa, for making our memorable trip and stay out there even better 😊
July 27 · Rod HousourSuch a beautiful park! The owners are very kind and they take special care of this place! Love it!! Even in the winter!!
March 31 · Jeri MeadowsWe have stayed at this RV park for many years to attend the county fair. The previous owners were excellent and we enjoyed the previous years. Brian, however is the rudest person I have met in a while and has serious anger management issues. There is a 5 mph speed limit in the park (which frankly is completely ridiculous, nobody ever drives 5 and under, but that's beside the point). Being fair week, we had a couple visitors to the site. The first visitor was a sweet lady that was definitely driving around or just under 10 mph, which to most sane people is a reasonable speed. Brian whipped in on his golf cart, driving faster than 5 mph, and proceeded to angrily yell at our visitor for driving too fast. He didn't even have the respect or decency to just ask us to observe the speed limit like most people would. Instead he came with rage in his eyes and was a complete jerk. We had another visitor shortly after that did come in a little hot, it was a teenager, and before we could even address the speed with him, Brian again rips over in his golf cart and proceeds to throw a rage filled tantrum and threatened to kick us out. After allowing time for Brian to cool off, I went and apologized for the speed and assured him we would follow his rule, which we did. The next day, while driving 5 mph, which is what he asked for, he again stopped us and yelled at us to slow down. After talking with other campers in this park, it was clear they all had the same experience with Brian. He is extremely rude with an abhorrent temper and does not deserve to receive money from customers. We will never stay here again. If you do decide to stay here, DO NOT press on your accelerator AT ALL! If you do, Brian will be watching.
August 03 · Kade KnightClean well maintained RV park, quiet peaceful sites with great space between. This is close to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison north rim drive which is under 30 minutes away . Hotchkiss is a great spot to get to many surrounding areas. Grand Mesa, wineries and orchards. The host is friendly and we will be back whenever we stay in this area. Dog friendly and my only recommendation is to add a small fenced dog run area. With the large grass areas you do have plenty of places to walk your dogs.
