Jan 28, 2025 · Crissie BabinWhen searching for the ideal RV park to call home, Montgomery RV Park quickly rose to the top of my list, and for several compelling reasons. Its smaller size, with fewer than 35 pads, creates a more intimate and quiet atmosphere. The park's convenient location near various shopping centers is a significant advantage, simplifying daily errands. Furthermore, the friendly and professional demeanor of the owners and managers instilled a sense of trust and comfort. Finally, the park's commitment to noise level enforcement ensures a peaceful living environment for all residents.Since new ownership took over last year, Montgomery RV Park has undergone a series of positive transformations. Within just three months, the park saw remarkable enhancements. Roads were smoothed and leveled, additional pads were thoughtfully added, and the park now boasts upgraded WiFi. The most significant improvement was the addition of full-time onsite site-managers dedicated to the park and its residents. The park's commitment to continuous improvement is evident in their current project: the construction of a new pond. While the ongoing construction may temporarily disrupt the aesthetic, the anticipation of the finished pond is exciting. The most impressive aspect of this park, however, is the rapid and proactive approach to resident concerns. On multiple occasions, when I have experienced WiFi or laundry room issues, the onsite managers have been immediately available. Most recently, when I encountered an electrical problem with my breaker box, the issue was resolved in under three hours. Montgomery RV Park has proven to be more than just an RV park; it is a community that values its residents and is dedicated to continuous improvement.
Jan 30, 2025 · CPABakerIf I could use two words to describe this park, it would be “inconsiderate” and “inexperienced”.After leaving this park a while ago and being at such a great park now, I realize there is a long list of problems with this park in particular. My hope is that the park improves, though I’m not sure they would be able to adjust EVERYTHING on this list, as well as the self-serving owners don’t seem to care about improving the park for its tenants. Unfortunately, leaving was a last resort. Though close to empty, there was a lot of construction with heavy machinery for months on end(still ongoing upon my departure), so as someone who works at night and sleeps during the day, good luck getting a full sleep. Construction started everyday at 6:30am-7:00am. Many times power and water cut out occasionally, for minimum of a day, max that I experienced was 5 days. Due to construction, it was happening more and more often. Though off the bat, these spaces were of decent size. Then construction started and they began shrinking each space, giving no room to park a car. There were a FEW spaces with enough room to park a car, however, EVERY car space IS in mud. I HAD to get used to every pair of shoes I own and my whole camper and carpet, being caked with clay mud. And this mud is almost impossible to remove from your things. Mud, everywhere, every square inch of this property is JUST mud. There is A laundry machine (with no hot/warm water), however, the walk to the laundry (with no path or light) is inconveniently through constant mud, other people’s camper spaces, and no way to know that the laundry itself is in the neighbors yard. You are creeping into someone’s backyard, by opening their backgate to enter. As someone without a pet, it was rather unfortunate to step outside my door and step on dog poop of all different sizes, everyday. Meaning the other tenants are inconsiderately walking in the space you pay for to let their dogs relieve themselves on your door step. Which is uncalled for given the park in pretty much empty( plenty of places to take your dog but just happens to drop it right outside the very few campers that are there?) Feels disrespectful. Lack of boundaries for other peoples spaces. As well as inconsiderately having dogs off leash, wondering and pissing on your (literally) camper steps. So be careful, driving in or out of the park, there is a high chance of you hitting someone’s cat or dog, since they let them dart around unsupervised at all times of day? Long time tenant spot #1 is the real problem. This older couple have a shed next to their camper(so you know who I’m talking about). On several occasions, the couple living there have been caught walking up to and looking in other campers windows when you are not home. Witnesses say the older female knocks, then tries to open locked camper doors that are not theirs. Don’t think they are just being nosey or harmless. Nosey would be a severely mild term to describe this couple. It felt as if you were being watched, all the time. These tenants took it upon themselves to “report” anything and everything happening in the park. This couple claim to be “park managers”, however, they have self assigned themselves this title (this is confirmed by the owner of the park.) BEWARE of this couple. They WILL approach you upon your arrival and ask for your name and information. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF. You have filled out everything online to rent already. You don’t need to tell anyone anything about yourself. I personally, when home, didn’t feel safe, and when away, didn’t feel like my home was safe. Not in this “community” anyways. The chance of you liking another park, is 98%. Save yourself the heartache of having to move again after discovering you are very disappointed with this place. As a conclusion, just know there are many many other park options, same price and/or a little more, for simple amenities that are just not considered in this park. Lack of care or interest towards the park tenants at this location, is just unbearable.
