Mission Oaks Mobile Home Park Reviews
It's a clean and quiet place. There's a park that has a playground and a basketball court. Only downside is the parking sucks. Only parking is either inside a parkway on someones home or on the visitors parking but most of the time those are always taken by people that live next to parking lot and need more parking. And if you park your car on the outside of the trailer then there's a chance it can get towed so not much parking. The people from the office are nice and friendly it's just hard to know when they are in the office cause they go in whenever they want. But overall a good place to live in.
Sep 10, 2019 · Rachel RicoInsist on towing cars instead of solution oriented for the total lack of parking. Conflicting signs and actions caused problems regularly with parking. Rent is raised constantly, and initial rent went up $500 from precious renter. Owners talk down to you and act aggressive if presented with any complaints. The actual owner of the property is Mapple Leaf Investment, which only deals in business rental lots and does not seem to care about any illegal or dangerous practices going on. I was told to call the cops or tow trunk on my neighbor's when complaining about parking issues, instead of managment helping to facilitate communication among renters. So, we talk among ourselves and deal with issues on our own. Also, I believe the owners use live cat traps and have possibly been removing pets without owner's knowledge.Lastly, constant road work in the park has made me late for work, nearly caused me to have an accident with another tenant attempting to navigate around loud, moving equipment in the tiny roads. It wouldn't have been an issue if they addressed any of my complaints; No warnings in advance of roadwork, no flaggers for traffic, or help when the road work traps you into your driveway or street. In summation you will always be met with agression when you have a grievance, then talked down to if you loose my temper in return. For clarification, my issue started the week I moved. I complained a drunk man outside of my bedroom window insisting he was with the park. Then yelled at me he could come on my lot anytime. They argued he was correct in his actions but was never sent onto my property again. You may get a resolution, but you will get no acknowledgement or apologies. And they take advantage of the fact you will constantly think, "I have to live here."Please, move in with knowledge you need to defend yourself. There are some things that are illegal, but this isn't the money bags community that can fight those battles. Between 8k property tax and them raising rent $100 a year even though the pandemic was the most deplorable action, IMO.
Aug 02, 2021 · Samantha GarciaAs a visitor to the community it looked orderly and clean. Parking is bad for visitors. Street signage is difficult to read and make out which street is which especially when it's dark.
Jan 16, 2023 · Theresa “Tessa” La VounLots of stray dogs, cats, and unsupervised children running around. Lots of speed bumps that are annoying. But in the bright side there is a small fenced park in the right back corner of this place
