Melody Lakes Manufactured Home Community Reviews
Funny this came up for me to review, as I live here and am proud that I do. It's a lovely community and well kept. Within the last 2 years many new homes have gone up; replacing those that have seen their better days. Of course they're keeping up with the industry and the prices reflect that as well. Melody Lakes is a finely oiled machine well prepared to keep it's residents, as well as attracting newcomers. It's easy to get in touch with management and they're easy to work with when you need any professional advice or help with your situation at hand. I do my very best to keep my home free of clutter and appealing for all eyes that may venture past, as do most.
Apr 30, 2024 · Leslie AlexanderNice place to live. To high for lot rent for land you will never own. And every year they make sure to raise that rent but offer nothing extra or improvements with that extra cost. Good neighbors and lots of nicer new homes being brought in. It's definitely not your adverage dumpy trailer park. They do make an effort to keep it nice.
Jan 09, 2019 · Jamie AndersonDO NOT APPLY TO LIVE HERE. We applied one month ago to live here and never received a response, even though they send you an email stating they will respond within 5 days. We have called multiple times and were told they were looking at our application and then they told us to stop calling and that “they will call us when they have an answer”. Basically, we got scammed out of $120 for our application fees and they couldn’t even be decent enough to send an email saying yes or no. Be careful!
Mar 10, 2025 · Samantha KUpdate: Don't move here. Lot rent is $941 a month and increases more each year. They installed water meters but claim it is a sewer bill so they can charge an extra $75 for every person over 18 in your home for water usage. The heated pool is never heated or open half the time. They took away the bathroom for the pool so I wouldn't swim in it anyway. This place is owned by a corporation ABC that owns multiple parks all around the area and they are pricing people out of the park. They are only in it for the money. They've taken most amenities away and keep raising costs. Don't make the mistake of moving here. Water is constantly shut off without warning due to constant leaks. The water smells like bleach. You can't drink the water. It's a shame because it is was a nice park with nice people struggling to live here and keep up with the ever increasing lot rent. They are making our homes worthless because they are pricing everyone out.
