Feb 28, 2022 · Jimmy RitsonUpdate: It's my opinion that several of the 5 star reviews on here are not residents. They all posted positive reviews about the same time frame, when actual residents started leaving poor reviews. Since my last post, our rent has been increased twice for a total of $70.00. We have 2 year leases, but my rent was increased 10% in 10 months (not a year) after I was told there was no projected rent increase the 1st year. They've done nothing to benefit the residents, just themselves by pouring a ton of concrete and moving new mobile homes in that are mostly sitting vacant. We will have another lot increase next year...oh wait, for them it will be 10 months I'm sure. They say they've called around to other parks and they are in line with what others charge, what they don't tell you is ALL the other parks have amenities like, RV/Boat parking, built in swimming pools with resident clubhouses, tennis courts, playground equipment, basketball courts, laundry facilities, water and sewer included with many parks (like ours was before the new owners came) and free lawn mowing for their senior residents. We have NONE of that. Most parks have well maintained streets too, ours are starting to crumble. I know the park owner reads these, I am speaking the truth and leaving an honest review.(Earlier review)I have been here over 24 years and have to agree with the previous review that since the park was sold to new owners it has gone down hill. They started out with great ideas and updates for the park and that's where it ended. We can't get anything done anymore, trees are left needing cutting or removal, broken concrete sidewalks that guest trip on when they come to visit, flooding when it rains hard, nothing is ever done. They added water meters on all our lines that used to be included in our lot rent, lot rent remained the same and now we all have to pay an additional $75.00 to $100.00 a month for water and sewer. No leases, my last one expired and was supposed to automatically renew with our previous owner, but he sold the park, unknown to any of the residents until the day it happened and the new owners have never written new leases. I am not sure why I am paying lot rent, I have holes in my driveway, a vacant home next to me that is falling apart. I miss the old owner, he at least got things done when it came to tree and bush trimming and leases. We STILL don't know who owns the park, it would be nice to know!
Mar 04, 2023 · Sherree SI’ve lived here for about 3 years I do enjoy living here it’s quiet and the neighbors are friendly.Everyone that I have met in the office have been very helpful. The only complaint I have is since moving in my lot rent has gone up $50.00 and having to pay the water which averages about $50.00 per month which isn’t bad but being on a fixed income it is hard to come up with. Other than that I like it here.
