One night stay at the park. Our stay was very quiet, and the cooler temps were a welcome change from TucsonPark is first-come, first served. Easy to find, and access is fine. Newer sites around the periphery of the camp are back-in with concrete pads, few/new, small trees and newer picnic tables. Older sites are pull-through with gravel and picnic tables that need to be replaced. Pull-through sites had a few big trees. I was able to leave my JK Unlimited hooked up to my 37 foot Class A and not quite use the full length of the spot. 30 and 50 AMP power, water and sewer at our site (16), and I believe all of the sites. Camp "Support Facility" is always open, isn't always manned, and never manned on weekends. Easy self check-in, Visa and Mastercard only, via envelopes. $30 to $50 per night depending on the length of your stay. Facility has washer/dryers and a small self serve/pay convenience store that was well stocked with sodas, water, snacks, candy, and a limited selection of frozen snack and meals. There are change machines in the laundry, but both were inop during our visit. There are also a mens and ladies restrooms, but we couldn't find the door code anywhere, including the check-in paperwork. There are also overflow spots with full hook ups in the parking lot just west of the park. $25 night, but the rules are to only use overflow when there aren't any spots available in the park. There is also a dump station right inside the entrance. - David Culbertson

March ARB FamCamp RV Park Introduce

For many Californians, the freedom of RV travel offers an unparalleled way to explore the diverse landscapes and attractions of the Golden State. For those with military affiliations, access to specialized facilities like FamCamps (Family Campgrounds) on military installations provides an added layer of convenience, security, and often, affordability. This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and informative overview of March ARB FamCamp RV Park, located on the March Air Reserve Base in California, specifically tailored for authorized patrons in California and beyond who are seeking a practical and quiet RV stop.

An RV park, or recreational vehicle park, is a dedicated facility designed to accommodate recreational vehicles for short or extended stays. March ARB FamCamp RV Park is a specific type of RV park known as a "FamCamp," which is typically located on military bases and is exclusively for use by authorized personnel, including active duty military, retirees, disabled veterans, National Guard/Reservists, and Department of Defense civilians. These parks offer essential hookups and a range of amenities, making them a popular choice for military families and individuals traveling across the country or seeking a more permanent, yet flexible, housing solution. They provide a safe and controlled environment, often at a more economical rate than commercial RV parks, while offering access to certain base facilities.

March ARB FamCamp RV Park is situated at 1870 Graeber St, March Air Reserve Base, CA 92518, USA. This location places it within the March Air Reserve Base, a significant military installation in Riverside County, Southern California. The base is centrally located within the rapidly growing Inland Empire region, offering a blend of quiet military community life with convenient access to major urban centers.

The park's address on Graeber Street ensures straightforward access once on base. March Air Reserve Base is strategically positioned near major Southern California freeways, including the I-215 and State Route 60, facilitating easy travel to surrounding cities like Riverside, Moreno Valley, and Corona. This connectivity means that popular attractions such as the March Field Air Museum (located on the perimeter of the base), Lake Perris State Recreation Area, and various shopping, dining, and entertainment options in the broader Riverside area are within a reasonable driving distance. While a car is generally necessary for exploring off-base, the security of being on a military installation and the relative tranquility make it an appealing stop for eligible travelers. It is important to note that access to the base requires a valid military ID, and guests should confirm entry procedures with the March ARB Visitors Center.
