Maple Grove Colonial Sales presents itself as a suitable option for locals in Indiana, particularly for those in the Kendallville area, for several compelling reasons. The community offers a pathway to affordable homeownership through manufactured homes, which can be a significant advantage for individuals and families seeking to enter the housing market without the high costs of traditional site-built homes. The presence of options for new, used, and custom homes, along with the ability to bring your own, provides flexibility to meet diverse needs. Furthermore, the commitment to "flexible financing options and exceptional customer service" from MHC Capital, which oversees the community, suggests a focus on supporting residents throughout their homeownership journey. However, it is crucial for prospective residents to be aware of and consider the negative feedback regarding management and communication. Reviews mention significant issues with getting lease agreements, slow response times for repairs (e.g., central air), and concerns about yard maintenance policies. While the potential for affordable living and a sense of community exists, it is strongly advised that any interested individual conduct thorough due diligence. This includes direct communication with management about current lease processes, maintenance protocols, and rules enforcement, as well as potentially speaking with current residents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the living experience. For Indiana residents willing to undertake this verification, Maple Grove Colonial Sales could still offer a viable and affordable housing solution in the Kendallville area.

Maple Grove Colonial Sales Reviews
Absolutely horrible management. We have to call cooperate in order to get ANYTHING done. Been nagging the landlord since FEBRUARY about a new lease and our lease is still not “available”. It’s been up since May and she refuses to print it off. Every week it’s “I’ll print it off next week” that’s been going on since cooperate told her to print it off for us. Still no signed lease. Absolutely horrible. I’d give 0 stars if able to do so.
Jul 26, 2021 · Bridgette NunemakerNever had problems with this place until recently, all of a sudden there's a butch woman walking around people's yards and handing out violations. My yard has been fine for 2 years now. Now all of a sudden there's problems. My rent is and has been current. I have 10 days to fix a bunch of stuff that really shouldn't matter. 2 years in though and my central air has yet to be fixed. Once this butch lady keeps her distance, i will change my rating, though im sure i haven't seen the worst yet. Also, would it really kill you to sell me my trailer??????? I could fix my own air then.
Oct 19, 2017 · J BIve lived here for almost a year, as soon as we moved in the repairs werent finished. We called several time about a huge crack in our ceiling but they kept putting it off. Our furnace wouldnt stay lit.the water heater wasn't working properly, they also kept putting that off. The roof was also rotting and falling in, the heat was only working in one half of the trailer because it wasnt hooked up properly. They gave us small space heaters that didn't do much of anything but Jack up our electric bill to 300 dollars a month. Then our pipes kept freezing up causing the sewer to back up into the house, found out the pipes were not hooked up right which was what was causing the freezing. Our steps were completely crooked because of the tree out front and I fell twice because of that. Then our yard out front floods so bad it comes up.to the stairs and caused the ice to become so thick salt didn't no good, fell 3 or 4 times on that. They finally put new stairs in about 2 months ago and 3 week's ago they fixed one part of the roof. Because of all the rain the flooding is horrible right out front, can't step outside on the concrete, or even the grass with out getting your shoes soaked. Then I called this.morning to try and get screens put in that haven't been there since before we moved in, and a screen door to try and help bugs from getting on the house, Dennis Carper answers the phone and then hung up on me when I told him what I needed. They are some.of the rudest people I have ever met. They act like it is such and inconvenience to put a work order in the system. And the worst part is you have no way to get a hold of the new owners to let them know what a bunch of a-holes they have working for them. I would like to move but I definitely can't now with my 720 rent ( which I shouldnt be paying with allbthe issues we have) and now they are raising the lot rent 45 dollars over a water tax! I would have no problem if this place was fixed right and was worth the money I'm payingWe need a way to get a hold of the owners, if anyone knows how please let me.know.
Jun 18, 2019 · Keri JonesLived there for 8 years. Rent almost always paid ahead. Left home I owned gave to ex wife who didn't pay rent. So filed eviction on me after I already moved and was gone for 3 months. Park manager is very rude and gossips worse then a teenaged girl. Live anywhere else then here.
Dec 19, 2019 · BK JoeWoRse place ever to live! Do not move here even if there is no where else to live! Walks in home without warning, management lady is crazy and forgetful she can’t even keep her head on straight! Absolutely the worse place ever to live, neighbors harass you and stalk who comes and goes from your house. I pay my bills ahead of time every month that changes nothing Sharon doesn’t even know who is who and just busts through your door then when she realizes it’s the wrong home it’s not supposed to be a big deal. Do not move here it is the worrrrsssstttt!!!
