Based on the nature of mobile home parks and the limited public information specifically detailing services, we can infer some general offerings, but it's crucial to confirm these directly with the park management. Mobile home parks typically provide:
- Lot Rentals: The primary service of a mobile home park is the rental of land lots where residents can place their manufactured or mobile homes.
- Utility Connections: Standard utility hookups, including water, sewer, and electricity, are typically provided at each lot, though the cost and billing structure (whether included in rent or billed separately) would need to be confirmed.
- On-site Management/Office: The presence of an "OFFICE #16" at the given address suggests that there is an on-site or readily accessible management team to handle resident inquiries, rent collection, and park maintenance issues.
- Trash Services: Waste collection is usually included as a basic service for residents within a mobile home park.
- Road Maintenance: Internal roads within the park are typically maintained by park management.
However, it is important to note that specific amenities like community centers, playgrounds, or other recreational facilities are not explicitly mentioned in the provided information or easily found in public reviews for this specific park. Prospective residents should inquire directly about all included services and any additional fees.
Based on the provided customer reviews, here are some points to consider regarding the features and highlights of Lone Star Mobile Home Park:
- Concerns Regarding Maintenance and Upkeep: One review explicitly states, "Most homes there are empty with piles of old furniture stacked up all along the street. I certainly wouldn't recommend it for any reason." This suggests potential issues with general upkeep and property maintenance within the park, which is a significant consideration for any prospective resident concerned with aesthetics and safety.
- Safety Concerns (Fire Hazard): The same review raises a serious concern about the park being "a huge fire Hazzard waiting to happen" due to "piles of old furniture stacked up." This highlights a critical safety issue that potential residents should investigate thoroughly.
- Rental and Deposit Practices: Another review details problematic experiences with rental and deposit terms, stating that the "Story changed in person" regarding pro-rating rent for a partial week and mentioning an unexpected "deposit per bowl of water" for a beta fish. This suggests potential inconsistencies or unclear communication regarding rental agreements and additional fees, which could be a significant drawback for new tenants. This indicates a need for extreme caution and clear, written agreements.
- Potential for Unoccupied Units: The mention of "Most homes there are empty" could indicate a high vacancy rate, which might impact the overall community feel and security.
It is crucial to understand that these are specific customer perspectives and should prompt a thorough personal investigation. Features typically highlighted positively in other mobile home parks (like community amenities, specific home types, or quiet environments) are not evident in the provided feedback for this park.
For inquiries about Lone Star Mobile Home Park, including availability, rental terms, and to address any concerns raised in reviews, prospective residents should use the following contact information:

Mobile Phone: +1 817-558-1379
It is highly recommended to contact the park management directly using these numbers. When communicating, it is advisable to ask specific questions about the concerns highlighted in the reviews, such as property maintenance, safety protocols, and a full breakdown of all fees, deposits, and rental terms in writing before making any commitments. Visiting the park in person and speaking with current residents, if possible, would also provide valuable insight beyond what can be gathered over the phone or from online reviews.
For Texans considering Lone Star Mobile Home Park, it is essential to approach this potential living situation with a highly cautious and investigative mindset. While mobile home parks can offer an accessible entry point into homeownership or affordable rental options, the specific feedback provided for this park raises significant concerns that directly impact its suitability for local residents.
The reviews highlight potential issues with park maintenance, describing conditions that could be fire hazards and indicating a prevalence of unoccupied or poorly maintained units. Furthermore, the reports of inconsistent rental terms and unexpected fees, even for small pets like a beta fish, suggest a lack of transparency or problematic management practices. For any Texan looking for a stable, safe, and welcoming community, these points are critical considerations.
Therefore, while the park is located conveniently in Keene, offering accessibility to US-67 and nearby areas, its suitability for locals is highly conditional. Prospective residents must conduct extensive due diligence: visit the property multiple times, observe the general condition of the park and homes, engage directly with management to obtain all terms and conditions in writing, and if possible, speak with current residents to get unfiltered perspectives on daily life and management responsiveness. Without a thorough personal investigation and clear, written agreements, Lone Star Mobile Home Park may not meet the expectations of Texans seeking a reliable and comfortable place to call home.

Lone Star Mobile Home Park Reviews
We were there on a grass fire but this place is a huge fire Hazzard waiting to happen. Most homes there are empty with piles of old furniture stacked up all along the street. I certainly wouldn't recommend it for any reason.
Aug 10, 2023 · Jim RCrooks. Don't trust this place. Almost rented one of the most private units about 3 years ago or so. They were all ready to go shopping with our deposit mind you it was a week before the 1st of the month and they would not pro rate that week. Wanted the deposit plus the week plus next month. Story changed in person. Not to mention some other fee...As we were there in conversation we mention I had beta fish. You know the kind literally living in a bowl...wanted a deposit per bowl of water...

Feb 07, 2025 · Mainaz StaggsI have know people that have lived here. The landlord states that they don’t rent places until they are totally fixed but they do. The rental rate was suppose to be $700 and then it ended up being $1175. If you don’t see the amount on the lease don’t believe it. The rent may seem cheap but you will pay with high electric bills and other fees that are required by Melissa. Melisa is not an honest person. Melisa, I am letting you know in advance that I am not in need of a place to stay and if I were I’d probably live under a bridge before I’d stay in your place. It’s unbelievable that you pray on families and make them pay you $50 to do background checks on each of their kids. It seems to me that you are trying to discriminate and keep family’s with fewer or no kids in your park. You are great at threatening others with eviction. I’m wondering if what you are doing is actually legal and will be checking into it.
