★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great campground just a couple miles from Bardstown city center. Sites are great and have full hookups, bathrooms and showers were clean, there's a great view of the lake, and super accommodating hosts. Served as a great home base for exploring the lovely Bardstown and surrounding distilleries. We'll be back next year!
September 12 · Jordan HoodThis little campground lives up to it’s name! We spent 4th of July weekend there. It was beautiful, quiet, and Sandy and Sheila, camp hosts are so friendly and accommodating. They had a potluck dinner for guests who wanted to participate. It was fun meeting new folks from all over and the spread was a feast. Sandy can throw down on some burgers! Showers are squeaky clean with incredible pressure and hot water. Laundry has 2 well maintained washers and dryers with easy tap to pay. So glad we found this little gem. We will definitely be back!
July 05 · Sherry MLittle patch of Heaven was perfectly named! The camp host, Sandy & Sheile are lovely and very accommodating! I called two days before my reservation to ask a special question and had to leave a message and she called me back within 30 minutes and was very accommodating and kind, She said well, of course you absolutely have to go see mammoth cave when you’re this close. The campground was just as described, and most important to me was the cleanliness of the restrooms. There weren’t even little mosquitoes or bugs in the corners as you would expect in a standard campground she took a lot of pride and what she did and asked somebody to go inspector work after she cleaned the bathroom I heard her say as I walked away. The campground has a lot of new touches and you can tell that they’re trying to add more and more as it goes. The real gem of the campground is the host And the families there! I was there on the Fourth of July and there was a cookout and tons of food to share and everyone was very inviting and friendly. The campground was very quiet and I was parked near the road that went by and I did not hear hardly any road noise. I highly recommend, It’s a great location inconveniently located to a lot of things and I will be back because I didn’t have enough time to do hardly anything I wanted to do!Keep up the great work, ladies we’re making the difference in your kindness and hard work shows! My only recommendation would be to have fire pits at the campsites, Let the owners know🙃 (However, it was so hot. I probably wouldn’t of made a fire anyway.)BTW, If you find a pink squid floating in the pond, it was Lunchbox, He wouldn’t bring it back😆 And I wasn’t going in! I don’t think it’ll hurt anything ( it floats) and I hope it will wash up to shore soon!
July 06 · Marti LillieNot sure how to rate “rooms”… it’s a campground so you are in your own “room”.But… the campground is amazing. Sandy… the host is wonderful. Super helpful and knowledgeable about the area.I am definitely coming back when we have more time to spend here in Bardstown.
August 29 · Joanna HBeautiful grounds, clean bathrooms, and exceptional hosts. Sandy and Sheila were fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Little Patch of Heaven. Will definitely visit again.
