Laurel Springs RV Resort Reviews
I would like to thank Corina & Ruth for accommodating me during my stay. Actually the entire crew at Laurel Springs RV Resort was excellent, very well maintained & groomed facility. Always ready to assist with anything you need park related of course. Conveniently located in Humble about a quarter mile from the San Jacinto river. More amenities available to keep even the most active family entertained. Large walking path, pool table, corn hole, putting greens (plural, there are 3 separate greens) a really nice playground for kids, pool, hot tub, the list goes on.There is train tracks that run about 75-100 feet from the park, there are trains & train horns, there is no set schedule for trains passing through, do not let this discourage you from staying here. It’s not bad at all, the trains are quick and actually pretty enjoyable to watch.
Mar 22, 2025 · Pat LWe have been here since late October and have been very happy with our stay. The office and maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful. They make an effort to learn guests names and build relationships. The facilities are always kept clean and in working order. When something breaks down they take care of it very quickly. When we had an issue with a plug at our site they were there to work on it within 15 minutes of reporting it. We just chose to extend our stay and are very happy with our decision.
Mar 23, 2025 · Tracey TricomiGreat place to live! We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 months here. Ruth and Corina were so kind and helpful, making sure everyone knew the rules but being flexible whenever possible. And Elder and Ray made sure that everything was maintained and looking beautiful so that it truly is a resort. So many amazing amenities; we made good use of the dog park and the Comfort Stations with the extra bathrooms and showers. And many more amenities! Highly recommend!
Apr 03, 2025 · KAREN DAVISMy husband and I are new to RVing and snowbirding from the north. We stayed at Laurel Springs for a month (leaving tomorrow) and we have loved it. It checks all of the boxes for us. It's near lots of shopping so we can get what we need, there is an onsite gym and Planet Fitness nearby, it is incredibly well maintained & clean, there is a business center where I was able to work some days, it is gated & secure, it's pet friendly, there are 2 laundry facilities so plenty for everyone and the staff is always very helpful and kind. We met lots of new people and every is so very nice in this park.My only "cons" - which are minor - include... if you are looking for something woodsy, this isn't really it. Many sites back up to the woods but it is still very much an RV park. The online pay system for laundry was in $5 increments but the cost is $2.25 per washer or dryer load which was odd. The main center doesn't open until 6am, so if you like to exercise early before work, it may not work (which I why I went to Planet Fitness a mile away many days). I wish they'd unlock the door at 4:30 or 5am for us early birds. We would definitely come back again. Kingwood is a beautiful town with lots of walking trails, shops (a great toy store "On The Park" nearby is a MUST), and close enough to Houston for a visit but not in the big city.
Mar 31, 2025 · michele skurekOn July 8, during Hurricane Beryl, a tree fell on our house and we had to purchase a travel trailer. In November, we moved it to Laurel Springs. I have to say I was apprehensive since I work nights and would have to leave the trailer unattended quite often. I also knew I would be staying there by myself since my husband had to stay at our house. Originally I thought I would only be there for about a month, but ended up staying until May 1st. We had never owned an RV or any type of travel trailer, so this was a new adventure and I knew absolutely nothing about living in one. That being said, I have to tell you that this was my home away from home for those 5 months. I absolutely loved being there! The entire facility is so well run and they truly care about their residents. The grounds are always pristine and the amenities are awesome. Even though I never really had a chance to join in any of the events that were offered, I appreciated the effort and thoughtfulness that Ruth and Corina put into making this RV resort come together as a community. I loved the way they have events for families, special events for the kids (Easter Egg hunt, crafting etc) and even adult-only pool nights! There are many people who make this wonderful resort their permanent residence, some just temporary (like me) and some that just pass through for a few days. I like the fact that they have a family section and a section for residents who have no children. Since I worked nights and slept during the day, this was perfect for me. It was always very peaceful and serene. I had the opportunity to meet several of my neighbors. They were always so nice and willing to offer help if I needed something. I always felt safe and knew that my neighbors and the staff were looking out for me.When our winter weather became unusually cold, they took steps to ensure that we were well-prepared and to help protect our “homes” from issues such as the possibility of frozen pipes. The one time I did have an issue with the outside water supply, they responded immediately and fixed the problem. While I am happy to have my home back together, I will truly miss my home at Laurel Springs. Thank you all for everything!
