RV travel is a popular way to explore Arkansas, offering the flexibility to move between the state's diverse landscapes, from the Ozark Mountains to the Arkansas Delta. An RV park serves as a vital hub, providing necessary hookups and a place to rest. Lakeview RV Resort positions itself as a "recreational vehicle oasis" in Jonesboro, aiming to offer a clean, attractive, functional, and fun place to stay. Understanding the nuances of such a resort, including its offerings and how it addresses guest feedback, is crucial for RVers seeking comfort and convenience on their travels. This overview will delve into the practical aspects of Lakeview RV Resort to help prospective guests set appropriate expectations.
Lakeview RV Resort is conveniently located at 5903 Dalton Farmer Dr, Jonesboro, AR 72404, USA. Its strategic placement off I-555 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, makes it easily accessible for travelers navigating through Northeast Arkansas. Jonesboro itself is a significant hub in the Arkansas Delta, offering various amenities, including shopping centers, dining options, and local attractions. The park's location off a major interstate means quick entry and exit for RVs, which is often a priority for those on longer road trips.
However, the park's proximity to a major highway also means that "highway noise is beyond loud," as noted by some reviewers. Additionally, it is situated "between the interstate and railroad tracks," which can contribute to noise levels. While being in "the middle of a curve on a major highway" might raise concerns for some, the ease of access to Jonesboro's facilities remains a practical advantage. The city provides numerous resources, including various shopping centers, a nature center, and a local museum on the campus of Arkansas State University. It's also within an hour's drive of Memphis, Tennessee, and offers short driving distances to historical sites like The Southern Tenant Farmers Museum or The Johnny Cash Boyhood Home. Despite the noise considerations, the park's location offers a practical base for exploring what Northeast Arkansas and nearby areas have to offer.

For Arkansans and visitors traveling by RV through Jonesboro, Lakeview RV Resort presents itself as an option with a mix of appealing features and significant considerations. On the positive side, the park offers full hook-up, paved sites, an 8-acre catch and release fishing lake with a walking trail, on-site laundry, and fiber optic internet. The security gate and the distinction of being the "only fully paved park in Jonesboro" are definite highlights for many RVers seeking convenience and certain amenities. For those looking for a long-term base in the Jonesboro area, the monthly rates and the promise of a "private oasis" can be attractive, particularly with the benefit of background checks for extended stays.
However, prospective guests should be fully aware of the highly critical feedback regarding management interactions and potential site conditions. Reviews frequently mention "unnecessarily confrontational" attitudes, a "bad manager," and difficulties with communication, especially outside of limited office hours. Serious concerns about flooding in certain areas of the park and the presence of raw sewage smell are also repeatedly raised, alongside descriptions of high noise levels from the adjacent highway and railroad tracks. The nightly price of $75.00 is also noted as being significantly higher than other options in the area, leading some to suggest a hotel might be more cost-effective.
Therefore, while Lakeview RV Resort offers desirable amenities like a fishing lake and paved sites, potential visitors from Arkansas should weigh these against the consistent and strong negative feedback regarding management's demeanor, noise pollution, and reported flooding/sewage issues. It is strongly advised for individuals to scout the location in person if possible, particularly after rain, and to thoroughly consider if the price point aligns with the overall experience, especially given the availability of other RV parks in the Jonesboro area with potentially different atmospheres and price points. For those who prioritize amenities like a private lake and gated security and are prepared to manage potential noise or direct interactions, it might still be a consideration. However, understanding these varied experiences is key to making an informed choice for your RV stay in Jonesboro.

Lakeview RV Resort Reviews
We recently visited this RV park to scout it out for a future trip, but unfortunately, our experience left us unimpressed. While checking out the location, we encountered an attendant who approached us with an unnecessarily confrontational and larger-than-life attitude over what seemed to be a misunderstanding. We had driven on what looked like a road, only to be told it was a walking trail. When we suggested adding a sign to make it clear, she initially pushed back but eventually admitted that a sign had been ordered. Her over-the-top demeanor, coupled with her refusal to handle the situation calmly, was enough to cross this park off our list. The phrase "ankle biter with an attitude" comes to mind. Beyond this interaction, the park itself just didn’t match the vibe we seek for our glamping adventures. We wouldn’t recommend this spot if you’re looking for a more welcoming and relaxing environment. In response to your Lies! There were No kids No dogs and no speed. I did have to go around an RV in middle of road but if that was a rose garden I should have stopped to smell them! You won’t have to worry with us or anyone we know visiting your “resort” or lack there of!
Mar 22, 2025 · AllenandAmmie ThompsonNot only are they high in price @$75.00 nightly the park floods and the staff are so rude to people. they close at 7:PM so do not even try to enter after that. The park as of today smelled like raw sewage. Not a good place to stay. No wonder they stay empty. Managment is no good at all. I also noticed that every review the so called manager which is the whole problem try's and blame everyone else for her bad attitude. Grow up you are a bad manager and that is a fact. I would not stay in your place. Also Jonesboro needs to review you as you are not a Resort.Okay to reply to your answer herein you know that this manager you talk about is in fact you! what I said is true 100% and no one said anything about arresting anyone! Simply that there should be a place to turn around so people can exit or return to the highway.Your place floods in several areas and we seen it first hand and we can provide photo if anyone needs to see first hand. You are never wrong on any of your reviews it is always the RV'ers wrong. While I am not saying that they are never wrong it still does not mean your not wrong. You have a bad attitude and if you ever want to get your place any better you need to take a back seat because your public Managment skills are very bad. so again people I would think again before parking in this park. They are very high and highway noise is beyond loud. the park is in the middle of a curve on a major highway and just a matter of time till someone runs off the curve and down into the park. The management is terrible and after 5 or 6 PM you get no help and if you do she is mad that she has to help in anyway. They are the highest price in the area at $75.00 Nightly. You can get a hotel and shower for the night cheaper.
Jun 28, 2025 · Terry L SandersWe were coming through Jonesboro and were looking for a place to stay kind of on the fly. The owners were kind enough to get us a nice pull through site for two nights. The park is in a good location for getting to all the places you’d need in Jonesboro. Overall I had a great experience here and would recommend!
Sep 22, 2023 · Ethan UnverferthWould give 10 stars if I could.Clean and safe environment as well as owners that look out for everyone’s safety. All of these are very important but even more so when traveling with little ones.Great environment for families or single people.Looking forward to returning here during our next visit.
Mar 23, 2025 · Gabby HardawayThis is a great place. I love the fact that it is a Gated community. It’s nice to have the lake with a dock and all. A paved track around the lake is nice for walking, biking. It’s a very clean place the staff are very helpful. It’s always clean. Brand new road, they even have their own propane tanks. It’s safe, there are cameras. I really do recommend this place. If all I could speak of was the Gated community that would be enough, but it really is a very nice place to stay.
