The Lafayette RV Community stands out as a highly attractive option, particularly for those in the Oregon region seeking a long-term or extended stay in the Willamette Valley. Its key value proposition lies in the balance it strikes between a peaceful, established community and exceptional regional access.
First and foremost, the affordability and stability of the rates, especially for extended stays, make it a compelling housing option in a region where housing costs can be high. The park's focus on long-term residents cultivates a more stable and neighborly environment compared to strictly transient RV resorts. Testimonials often highlight the professionalism of the manager and the friendliness of the current residents, confirming a supportive and welcoming atmosphere that makes settling in easy.
Secondly, its geographic convenience cannot be overstated. You are nestled in the heart of Oregon's wine and agricultural country, offering countless opportunities for weekend drives, wine tasting excursions, and visits to local markets. Yet, you are close enough to major transportation corridors (Hwy 99W) to easily commute to Portland or Salem for work, major shopping trips, or city entertainment. Being able to walk to a coffee shop, post office, or a taco stand is a unique benefit that eliminates the need to drive for every minor errand, adding an urban convenience to the rural setting.
Finally, the functional amenities and pet policy cater directly to the needs of the modern RVer. Clean public showers and restrooms, on-site laundry, and reliable Wi-Fi provide the comfort of a home base. The explicit welcome for dogs (with sensible rules) acknowledges that pets are a part of the family for many travelers. For Oregonians or visitors planning an extended stay in the Willamette Valley, the Lafayette RV Community offers a practical, affordable, and well-positioned home base. It’s an older park with great staff and a friendly populace—a quiet, dependable choice close to everything that makes this part of Oregon so special.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Not a bad place. Older RV park, but the staff are great. People are friendly who live here. It's quiet and close to many places to shop.
August 29 · William ForrestI haven't been there yet, but the manager Leta is very professional and helpful.
June 16 · Marina GodoyNot a bad smaller rv park wish they had more than one shower setup but it's a real nice peaceful park
November 05 · Sean NichollsThis place has reasonable prices for rent. Managers are on-site and nice. Community seems to be friendly. Bathrooms are unheated and not exactly sanitary. Laundry room you can only do a half a load of laundry to get your clothes clean and it takes twice in the dryer to dry them. You have to be careful of the potholes. Also caution on falling branches and debris. According to the owner this is not a place to get comfortable and call your home. By her statement it is her property and you will do what she says.
December 03 · Blue DolphinLived in this park and it was a rat hole. New owners have upgraded, cleaned out the trash and it has a new atmosphere, Maintence lives on the property and is qualified to handle day to day requests. . Restrooms are cleaned daily and no fear of clothes being stollen while your in the shower. The Manager is upbeat friendly and flexible if you follow park policy's and rules.
