Kv's RV Park is situated at 1720 Walls Ln NE, Hartselle, AL 35640, USA. Hartselle, a city in Morgan County, Alabama, offers a pleasant setting that balances small-town charm with convenient access to larger urban centers in North Alabama. The park's location on Walls Lane NE places it within reasonable proximity to major roadways, particularly Interstate 65 (I-65).
The accessibility of Kv's RV Park is often cited as a benefit for travelers passing through Alabama. It is generally described as being not far off I-65, making it a convenient stop for those on longer journeys. For local Alabamians, this means easy access to and from the park, facilitating commutes for work or quick trips to nearby towns. Hartselle itself provides essential services, including grocery stores, gas stations, and local dining options, which are typically within a short driving distance from the park.
While the park offers a setting that can feel somewhat removed from immediate city bustle, its connection to I-65 ensures that residents and guests can readily access the wider North Alabama region. Cities such as Decatur are roughly 7 miles away, and Huntsville, a larger hub with more extensive shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities, is also within a manageable driving distance. This balance between a quiet, affordable location and regional accessibility is a key aspect for those considering Kv's RV Park for their RVing needs in Alabama.
Kv's RV Park aims to provide a range of services designed for RV dwellers, particularly those looking for a more extended or budget-friendly stay. Based on various public reports and customer experiences, the park generally offers the following:
Full Hookup RV Sites: The park provides full hookup sites, which typically include 30/50 amp electric service, water, and sewer connections at each spot. This is a standard and essential offering for RV parks to ensure comfortable living.
Laundry Facility: A laundry facility is advertised as available on-site, offering convenience for residents and guests to do their washing. However, some reviews indicate that access or functionality of the laundry facilities can be inconsistent.
Shower Access: Shower facilities are mentioned as an amenity. Customer feedback, however, suggests that access to showers might be "conditional" or require going "to someone's house to take a shower," indicating potential limitations or issues with direct access to a functional public shower facility.
Wi-Fi: High-speed internet (Wi-Fi) is advertised. Multiple reviews, however, describe the internet as "spotty" and "really only works if you're next to the office," suggesting that reliable Wi-Fi coverage across the park may be a challenge for residents.
Dump Station: A dump station is typically available for RV waste disposal.
Pet-Friendly Environment: The park generally welcomes pets, recognizing that many RVers travel with their furry companions. Rules regarding pet behavior and waste disposal are usually in place to ensure a harmonious environment for all.
RV Storage: Kv's RV Park also offers covered and open storage options for RVs, boats, vehicles, and other large items, which can be a valuable service for long-term residents.
Pull-Through Sites: Many sites are designed as pull-throughs, which makes parking and maneuvering large RVs easier for guests.
It is important for prospective guests to directly confirm the current operational status and accessibility of all desired amenities, especially given varied customer feedback.
Kv's RV Park possesses certain characteristics that appeal to a specific segment of the RV community in Alabama. While some aspects have drawn mixed reviews, several features are consistently noted.
Affordable Rates: One of the most frequently mentioned highlights is the affordability of the park. It is described as being "cheaper to stay a month here then most everywhere," making it an attractive option for those on a tight budget or seeking long-term, economical RV living in North Alabama.
Convenient Location to Highway: Its proximity to Interstate 65 is a practical advantage, offering "convenient to highway" access for travelers. This makes it a suitable stopover for those on extended road trips through Alabama or for locals who commute frequently.
Friendly Staff/Attendant (Reported by some): Some reviews note that the "staff/attendant was pleasant and tried her best to accommodate," suggesting a willingness to assist guests despite potential park limitations. This personal interaction can be a positive aspect for some visitors.
Level Gravel Sites: The sites are generally described as "level gravel with full hookups," and "sites are well graveled and level." This is a practical feature for RVers, as it simplifies the setup process and ensures a stable parking area for their vehicles.
Pet-Friendly: The park welcomes pets, understanding that many RV travelers have their furry companions with them. This inclusivity is a highlight for pet owners seeking accommodation.
All Sites are Pull-Throughs: The park is reported to have all pull-through sites, which significantly eases the process of parking and departing for RVs of all sizes, including big rigs.
It is important to note that while these features offer clear benefits, some customer reviews also highlight challenges, particularly regarding the reliability of advertised amenities like Wi-Fi and laundry facilities, as well as concerns about the general cleanliness of the park and the long-term resident population. Prospective visitors are encouraged to weigh these points in their decision-making process.

Kv's Rv Park Reviews
Ive lived in this park for 3 years. When i chose to live here, I chose this park because they advertised, shower access, high speed internet, and a laundry facility, . Now that being said, I had use of tue laundry for about 6 months. The shower is condictional. The internet is "spotty" really only works if youre next to the office. I have to go to someones house to take a shower, wash clothes, and I had to get my internet through metro. The owner, her buisness practicies are garbage. The Whole RV park is riddled with totally gone meth head and fentanyl junkies! Its cheaper to stay a month here then most everywhere, but in the end you get what you pay for. Mar 11, 2025 · Jason CummingsI am giving two stars only for the fact that it was convenient to highway, cheap, and the staff/attendant was pleasant and tried her best to accommodate. If you are looking for cheap, this is your place. When we stayed, the whole place smelled like sewage, our waste drain was full, and there are a large number of full time residents that are slobs. The place was a mess. We pulled out as early as we could and had to pay extra at another gas station to empty our tanks.
Oct 27, 2022 · Sherie TothQuiet, very clean, very convenient to the interstate. Sites are well graveled and level, utilities within easy reach and in fine condition. Both management and neighbors are helpful and congenial. Didn't use the bathhouses, so can't really comment on them except to say I did see them being cleaned morning and evening. Perfect for an overnight on the way, and just fine for longer stays as well. My only "complaint" is pretty minor; the water pressure was a little low (about 25 psi, if memory serves), but it was still fine for a shower in the RV. I would definitely stay again when in the area.
May 13, 2019 · James MadisonIf I could give a minus score I would. I had a reservation for one night. I pulled in and the place was incredibly run down and gave me an uneasy feeling, The office was locked so I called the number on the door and after a couple of tries the manager answered. When she finally showed up she couldn't remember the reservation and said she was full. So before leaving I asked to used the restroom. The toilets were absolutely disgusting. I found another place a few miles away.
Nov 16, 2022 · Joan Puma87I thought about giving 3 1/2 stars, but that's not an option here. This is a very bare-bones campground, all basic amenities, no frills. Took our 32A with Jeep toad in there with no problem, nobody at the office, or answer phone calls. Paid in an envelope, took a $10 Good Sam discount and dropped in $30. Not too noisy, some road and after hours noise, but not bad. Good for an overnight anytime. Close to the interstate and Cracker Barrel. Will stop when by this way again.
