Jun 25, 2025 · Steven OrwitzGreat campground with super nice owners. Very quiet and not to far from town. Clean and well maintained. Nice and clean laundry Room, but a Little pricey. Lovely garden area with herbs and veggies available to pick. Nice little walk down to a creek in a wooded area. I originally booked the week here but ended up staying for two!
Apr 25, 2025 · T WarnerReally nice and peaceful. Very quiet. The owners were very accommodating nice people, easy pull through sites, love all the gardens that you have access to while you’re there. And I’m looking forward to coming back in the end of October for peanut Festival. And thank you for the nice time we had.
Jun 08, 2025 · Cindy LancasterRick and I really enjoyed Kelly Creek RV Park. The owners were so nice. Everything was brand new, bathrooms, showers, sites! The flower and vegetable gardens were awesome. Picked a couple onions and a head of lettuce and made taco salad! Delicious! Wish we could have stayed another night to see the orchards. Thank you so much and God Bless You...
May 07, 2025 · Rick TrendelI don't usually write reviews of RV parks. (Have been over 100 RV parks, and drove to Alaska and back with our camper.) But I'm making an exception for Kelly Creek, and it's because of the owner, Russ, and the outstanding extras he and his wife provide. We only had a day, passing through, and stumbled upon this wonderful gem off of hwy 231 near Midland, AL. Everything was in impeccable shape, like brand new. Very nice, level pull through gravel pads, very quiet. Full hookup with easy access. The bathroom/shower rooms are individual and very clean, as is the laundry. There is not any shade in the main parking area because the trees haven't grown up yet after the ground was leveled for easy RV parking. The spaces are large and can accommodate any size. Although there isn't any visual separation between rigs, we never heard any other noise from anybody at night. But if you want secluded wooded spots, Russ, or perhaps the friendly camp host, (was named Rick at the time) can direct you to areas away from the main open pad parking to remote treed areas by the creek. The RV park is in the midst of a large wooded and formerly pastured area that is a working persimmon farm. There are vegetable gardens, grapes and persimmons all available to the campers. Russ gave us a great tour of the land in his golf cart and shared a true love of the land and clearly enjoyed sharing it. We didn't have time to hike the trails Russ has put in, but we'll make it a point to come back next time we're down this way and explore of the property. There is a lot there and I highly recommend visiting it, meeting the owners and maybe grabbing a persimmon or two.
