Jellystone Park™ Birchwood Acres Reviews
Mixed feelings. We stayed at the premium lodge and although the location in the park was great and you feel nature we had a problem with the sewage outside our lodge that caused a strong smell when staying outside. They tried to pour some liquid for the smell but no luck. The rooms are OK, come with low expectations. The staff is friendly. The large pool is heated which is a real plus when it's too cold outside. The water zone is pretty cool. Overall it was fun.
May 27, 2025 · Yossi LI rented a trailer at Jellystone Park in Birchwood Acres for the weekend, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The trailer was not cleaned properly at all. The beds had no sheets, so I had to bring my own, and the vents were filthy, filled with spider webs and leaves. It was unsettling. To make matters worse, the trailer had an ant infestation so bad that we didn’t even want to place our bags on the floor. The floors themselves were dirty, and thankfully I had Lysol wipes to do my own cleaning and disinfecting, which I shouldn’t have had to do. There were also spider webs throughout the rooms, adding to the feeling of uncleanliness. The mattresses were very thin, laid directly on wooden boards, making for a very uncomfortable night’s sleep. As for the shower, the hot water barely lasted 10 minutes, which is a big problem when multiple people need to use it.What really added insult to injury was the $50 fee they charged after I left, claiming the fire extinguisher had been used, which it absolutely had not. They supposedly “found it” during cleaning—a full week after my stay—but couldn’t provide any proof. That’s completely unprofessional and feels like a scam. Cleaning should happen immediately after a guest checks out, not a week later. For a place that charges premium prices, they should invest in better cleaning staff and guest accommodations. My trailer was filthy and uncomfortable, and I will never stay here again. If you’re thinking about renting a trailer here—be very careful. The conditions are poor, and you may be charged for things you didn’t do. Extremely disappointed.
May 18, 2025 · Amarie CI hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the hot tub experience during my recent stay at your Greenfield Park location. When I attempted to use the hot tub, the water was noticeably cold. I politely requested the temperature be adjusted, but was initially told that it was already at the proper level. However, upon further inspection—prompted by my feedback—it was discovered that the machine was malfunctioning and the water temperature was only 88°F, well below the standard 104°F expected for hot tubs. While I appreciate that your maintenance team eventually identified and began fixing the issue, the offer to use the hot tub after a one-hour delay (at 8 PM, in cold outdoor weather), with only a 30-minute extension, does not reflect the level of service I expected when booking. The hot tub was one of the key amenities I was looking forward to, and I feel that the opportunity to use it properly was significantly diminished.I kindly ask you to consider whether this level of service is acceptable for paying guests, and I would appreciate any gesture of goodwill, such as a partial refund, credit toward a future stay, or other compensation.
May 26, 2025 · David LuyObviously this place is just a money grab now .i was called to the office 2 times , each time i was told it was a new girl who wasn’t trained yet and i had to pay a little more .the campsite has obviously given up on trying to regulate the seasonals who are absolutely rude and have no camping etiquette . Using power tools to do repairs almost til midnight , While young staffers speed past on golf carts never even asking them to quiet down . It’s been two weeks since my horrible experience and 2 emails later no response . If you can get past the noise there is a couple of stadium lights to test your metal !! Stay away it’s the Wild West in this place .
May 19, 2025 · Michael F Derin JrOur family had an amazing time! Parks are wonderful for the kids, and the dog park was great for our floofs to run around in! Planning to make this a yearly vacation!
