The I-10 Orange RV Park is designed to accommodate a wide range of RVs, providing essential services that cater to the modern traveler. Whether you’re on a cross-country journey, working remotely, or enjoying a local getaway, understanding the facilities and experience offered here can help you make an informed decision for your next RV adventure.
One of the most frequently praised aspects of I-10 Orange RV Park is its spaciousness. Reviews often highlight the generously sized concrete pads, which are a significant advantage for maneuvering larger RVs and providing a stable, level surface. This feature contributes significantly to the comfort of your stay, ensuring that your RV is securely parked and you have ample room to set up your outdoor living space. The availability of full electric and sewer hookups at every power pole, offering both 30-amp and 50-amp connections, further enhances the convenience for all types of RVs, ensuring you have all the necessary utilities for a comfortable stay.
However, like any large facility, the I-10 Orange RV Park has areas that have received mixed feedback from visitors. While some aspects are highly regarded, others present opportunities for improvement. It's important for prospective guests to consider all available information to set accurate expectations for their visit, particularly concerning shared facilities such as restrooms and laundry rooms.
The I-10 Orange RV Park is strategically located at 9395 Old Hwy 90, Orange, TX 77630, USA. This address places it in Orange, Texas, a city known for its historical significance and its position on the border with Louisiana, making it a gateway to the broader Gulf Coast region. Its proximity to Interstate 10, a major east-west thoroughfare across the southern United States, is a key selling point for travelers. This excellent accessibility means that RVers can easily exit the highway, access the park, and quickly resume their journey, minimizing travel time and maximizing convenience.
Being situated on Old Highway 90 provides a balance between being near a major interstate and offering a slightly set-back, potentially quieter environment compared to parks directly adjacent to the busiest stretches of I-10. This location is particularly beneficial for those exploring Southeast Texas, including attractions in Orange and nearby cities like Beaumont, as well as the natural beauty of the region's bayous, rivers, and coastal areas. It serves as an ideal base camp for exploring local historical sites, fishing spots, or simply enjoying the unique cultural blend of this part of Texas. The straightforward navigation to the park makes it a hassle-free destination for RVers arriving from any direction.
- Spacious Concrete Pads: The park provides large, level concrete pads for RV parking, offering stability and ease of setup for vehicles of various sizes.

- Sewer Hookups: Every RV spot includes direct sewer connections, allowing for convenient waste disposal without the need to move your RV.
- Clean Bathhouse (Variable Condition): While the park aims to maintain cleanliness, guest reviews indicate the condition and accessibility of the bathhouse can vary, with potential for limited access or maintenance issues.
- Laundry Facilities (Variable Condition): A laundry room is available on-site, providing washers and dryers. However, some machines may be non-functional, which could impact efficiency. Washing machines typically cost $5 per load, with dryers being free.
- Ample Space and Privacy: One of the most significant highlights of I-10 Orange RV Park, as noted by long-term residents, is the generous spacing between RV sites. The spacious concrete pads contribute to a sense of openness and make parking much easier, especially for larger rigs.
- Reliable Full Hookups: The consistent provision of full electric (30/50 amp) and sewer hookups at every power pole is a major convenience. This ensures that all essential utilities are readily available, making for a comfortable and self-sufficient stay, whether short or extended.
- Long-Term Stay Friendly: The park has a reputation for being a good option for long-term residents, with one reviewer mentioning a positive 6-month stay. This suggests that the park's amenities and atmosphere are suitable for those looking for an extended period of residence.
- Cost-Effective Laundry Drying: A unique highlight of the laundry facilities is that while washing costs $5, the dryers are free to use. This can be a cost-saving feature for campers managing their laundry on the road.

For Texans considering an RV adventure within their home state, or those simply passing through and needing a reliable place to stay, I-10 Orange RV Park presents a viable and often convenient option. Its suitability for local users stems from several key factors, blending practicality with the potential for a comfortable stay in Southeast Texas.
Firstly, its strategic location in Orange, Texas, just off Interstate 10, makes it incredibly accessible for Texans traveling from various parts of the state. Whether you’re coming from Houston, Dallas, or anywhere in between, reaching the park is straightforward. This convenience is a significant benefit for locals looking for a weekend getaway or needing a temporary base while exploring the unique cultural and natural attractions of the Orange area and the broader Gulf Coast.
The park's core offerings – spacious concrete pads and full 30/50-amp electric and sewer hookups at every site – are fundamental for a comfortable RV experience. These amenities address the primary needs of RVers, ensuring that their vehicles are well-supported and that daily living is as seamless as possible. For Texans who own larger RVs, the generous pad sizes are a distinct advantage, alleviating the common concern of cramped spaces found in some other parks.
While recent reviews highlight areas for improvement in shared facilities like restrooms and laundry, it's important to weigh these against the overall value proposition, especially for those with self-contained RVs. Many RVers rely primarily on their own onboard facilities, making the park's hookup reliability a paramount factor. For long-term stays, which the park seems to accommodate well, having personal hookups is essential, and the free dryers in the laundry room offer a small but appreciated cost-saving perk.
Ultimately, I-10 Orange RV Park serves as a practical, accessible, and well-equipped option for Texans. It provides the essential infrastructure for a comfortable RV stay, whether you're embarking on a regional exploration or simply need a reliable stopover. For locals, it represents a straightforward and dependable choice for experiencing the convenience of RV travel in the diverse landscape of our great state.

I-10 Orange RV Park Reviews
Stayed here for 6 months and it was one of the best campgrounds I’ve been in. Spacious concrete pads, full electric/sewer hookup with 30/50amp at every power pole. Bath house was kept clean and the laundry room was nice and cost 5$ to wash and dryers were free.
Jun 28, 2025 · Andrew DuranceauOur family of 4 recently stayed at this rv park and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory.🚻 Restroom Access and ConditionDespite the park accommodating over 100 RV spots, only one restroom was accessible to our family of 4. This limited access was particularly problematic during peak times when the single restroom was often occupied. Additionally, the restroom showed signs of neglect: soap dispensers were broken, and the facility was frequently unclean, with hair and debris present. Such conditions are unacceptable, especially in a park of this size.🧺 Laundry FacilitiesThe laundry room was another area of concern. Approximately half of the machines were non-functional, making it challenging to complete laundry tasks efficiently. Given the number of guests, reliable laundry facilities are essential, and the current state was disappointing.
Jun 19, 2025 · Yovana SalinasThe place hasfive shower and laundry the owner is very friendly and polite. This place very peaceful and also the Internet is fiber optic so you have your own gigabyte that you do not have to share which is very fast and we’ve had no issues with downloading movies and or working on our computers or using our surveillance cameras.
May 20, 2023 · Nick CarterThis RV park has some big positives and a few quirks.Positives:Easy access to I-20Concrete roads and padsGreat laundryPrivate restrooms / showerQuirks:No obvious office. There is an OFFICE sign that points to the right. It turned out to be an unmarked 5th wheel. No picnic table or fire pit.Strange utilities setup. The electric box was not tall enough to accommodate an external surge protector. The sewer was located under an electrical box and too close to the water faucet. The quirks were minor annoyances and far outweighed by the all concrete construction when we stayed because it rained several inches that night. No muddy shoes when unhooking or walking the dog.If you need an easy overnight camping place on I-10 then this will work great for you. If you need a pool, camp store, propane, picnic table or fire ring then it won’t work for you. We would definitely stay here again when passing through.
Apr 11, 2024 · Mel MurrayWe stayed a few nights traveling through to West Texas. Concept pads are a plus. The laundry and bathrooms were in need of cleaning as we didn’t feel comfortable using them as they were. Don’t think we will be staying again.
