I arrived at 5:30 pm. Although the sign in the office said OPEN, the doors were locked and no one around. I drove into the campground, parked my truck and walked all the way around the building checking and knocking on doors and calling out “Hello”. Nothing. The supposedly “helpful, friendly” staff was no where to be found. So I parked, put up my tent, plugged in my jackery, ate dinner and finally at dark went to bed. At 11pm I was awakened by a man who said he was the owner and wanted $60!!! For the night. He said that I was supposed to have registered online. Great but my phone was dead and I only found the place by using iOverlander earlier in the day. It’s a new park and I get it they have an investment but waking up your campers and demanding payment when NO WHERE on iOverlander was $60 mentioned and there was no “helpful, friendly staff”staff around to check me in is rude and unfriendly. If you’re an RVer you’ll probably think this glorified parking lot is really sweet. If you’re a camper stay far away. - Mark and Josie Preston
