Perfect location and just as advertised on their website. Water and Electric Only - No sewer. The dump station is located at the end of the park and was easy to get to. I was located in the back in spots against the boardwalk. Lots of activity and noise, so make sure you like to be part of the action or choose another spot. You can't beat the views and environment. Took bikes to all Huntington Beach and it was amazing! - Katie Miles

While it operates with a focused set of amenities, its prime location and direct access to the beach and boardwalk create an atmosphere of unparalleled excitement and scenic beauty. Huntington Beach RV Campground is perfectly situated at 103 PCH, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, USA. This address places it directly on the iconic Pacific Coast Highway, right along the sandy shores of Huntington City Beach. Its location is truly unbeatable for those seeking an immersive beach experience in Southern California.

The campground’s accessibility is a major highlight. Being "right at the beach just across from a bike/walking path" means that campers have immediate, direct access to miles of coastline. This prime spot allows for easy strolls along the boardwalk, invigorating bike rides, and quick dips in the ocean. The location against the boardwalk ensures campers are "part of the action," with "lots of activity and noise," perfect for those who thrive on a lively atmosphere.

Furthermore, the campground is "very close by" to grassy areas, which is a convenient feature for pet owners. Beyond the immediate beachfront, the park offers incredibly easy access to downtown Huntington Beach. It's an "easy walk across the PCH to the downtown area" where visitors can enjoy "tourist type shopping and plenty of places to find a bite to eat." This proximity to Huntington Beach Pier, diverse restaurants, surf shops, and unique boutiques means that campers have all the conveniences and entertainment options of Surf City USA within minutes, without needing to move their RV. The location truly offers the best of coastal recreation and urban accessibility.

Huntington Beach RV Campground focuses on providing essential services that enhance the primary appeal of its oceanfront location. While it operates with a simpler amenity set compared to some full-service resorts, it delivers on the core needs for a comfortable beach camping experience. It's important to note that the campground is open seasonally, from the Tuesday after Labor Day through May 31, and requires self-contained RVs.

  • Water and Electric Hookups: Each of the 49 campsites provides both water and electricity, with 30 and 50 amp connections available. This ensures campers have essential utilities for their RVs.

  • Public Restrooms: Public restrooms with toilets only are available near the park, open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, providing a basic convenience.
  • Beach Access: Direct access to Huntington City Beach means campers can easily enjoy swimming, surfing, sunbathing, and beach combing.
  • Beach Fire Pits: Fire pits are available on the beach between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm, allowing for classic bonfire experiences by the ocean.
  • Pet-Friendly: The campground is pet-friendly, allowing dogs on leash. There are also nearby grassy areas for dog walks, though campers should "bring your own dog pick up bags."
  • Garbage Cans: "Plenty of garbage cans located throughout the park" ensure cleanliness and easy waste disposal.
  • Accommodates Various RV Sizes: Beachfront RV sites are 30 feet in length, and off-beach sites can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet in length (including all bike racks, trailer tongues, etc.).
