Highway West Vacations Reviews
One of their hotels (Sideways Inn) falsely charged me $250 for smoking in the room. I explained to the manager, Chris, that I absolutely did NOT smoke inside the room. I deliberately went away from the building to smoke. I mistakenly left a cigarette on the table. He did not believe me nor would provide a receipt. I called the owners, Highway West, and they don't answer the phone. So now I’m out $250 “extra cleaning fee” for something I did not even do. I didn’t even complain about the filthy, hairy, sewage smelling bathroom. But they felt it ok to charge me $250.

Jul 12, 2024 · S AshWe have been going there for almost 20 years. We stopped by with my parents for lunch. They drove in and were told they had one parking spot open. It was a quite a walk for two handicap 80 year old couple. The restaurant server was rude, and did not want to take orders. The guest are required to wear mask, but not the workers. The crew was also not friendly at all. After 20 years of in joying Shelter Cove, we will most likely not going back. Plus may OSHA violations where the "New Lodge" was to be built along with violations to the Corona 19 safety requirements. OSHA will be contacting you. Pulse I suggest you review the handicap parking regulations required at Shelter Cove. There are Zero parking place at Shelter Cove. How many accessible parking spaces are needed? The minimum number of accessible parking spaces required depends on the total number of parking spaces in the lot, as seen in the table below. Furthermore, one of every six accessible parking spaces, or fraction of six, must be “van-accessible.” For example: A parking lot with 400 total spaces needs eight accessible spaces, and two of those eight spaces must be van-accessible.Total Number of Parking Spaces in Parking Facility (Lot or Garage)Minimum Total Number of Accessible Parking Spaces RequiredMinimum Number of Van Accessible Sparking Spaces1 - 251126 - 502151 - 753176 - 10041101 - 15051151 - 20061201 - 30072301 - 40082401 - 50092501 - 10002% of total1001 and over20, plus 1 for each 100, or fraction thereof, over 1000

Sep 07, 2020 · Shawn AllenShelter Cover Resort is no longer the relaxing location due to the impact of the PCT hikers taking over the facility. They loiter on the dining deck, do their laundry and swim naked in the lake while hanging their clothes on the logs to dry. They sit with their filthy bodies on the dining tables, and leave their packs all over the deck, which clearly states to take them to the hiker tent. No enforcement of the rules to this group. If you are a PCT hiker this is your dream come true. Free showers, free camping and free roam of the resort. If you are a paying camper, I would not suggest this resort.

Jul 24, 2023 · Denise EstepMy goodness, our dog died and I have been trying to cancel our stay for two days. The hotel's phone has been off the hook for two days, the cooperate office number does not have a live person to talk too and does not return calls. Both, hotel and cooperate office does not return emails as well. The only thing I know is they processed my credit card. Hopefully this is just an isolated issue with me and not everyone.

Mar 25, 2022 · David PaulThis company is BS. The Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground location does not answer the phone or emails to cancel a reservation. Ultimately, the timeframe to cancel will pass and you'll end up having to dispute the charges with your credit card company!
