Highway 16 Mobile Home & RV Community in Poteet offers a living solution for Texans seeking a balance between rural tranquility and urban accessibility, particularly for those looking for affordable housing options. While it's important to consider all available feedback, the community's core offerings and strategic location present several compelling reasons why it might be suitable for certain local residents.
For Texans who value a "quiet country living" experience, this community provides a retreat from the dense urban environment. Its location directly off Highway 16 offers exceptionally easy access to the convenience store next door and a straightforward commute to major highways and, critically, to downtown San Antonio. This blend of peaceful living with accessibility to a large metropolitan area is a significant draw, allowing residents to pursue employment, education, or entertainment in the city while returning to a more relaxed home environment. Being within the Poteet Independent School District also makes it a consideration for families seeking local schooling options.
The affordability of mobile home and RV lot rentals can be a key factor for many Texans, especially those looking for a cost-effective housing solution. The "Bill Back" system for water and resident choice for gas and trash provides some control over utility expenses, and sewer being included is a definite plus. The community's stated aim to be "family-friendly" and its pet-friendly policy cater to broad segments of the Texas population, accommodating diverse household needs. The presence of security cameras suggests an effort to maintain a safe environment, which is a priority for any resident.
However, it is crucial for prospective residents to conduct thorough due diligence. The mixed reviews regarding the park's condition, particularly unpaved streets and bulk trash, and serious allegations about community safety and maintenance responsiveness, indicate that a personal visit is essential. This would allow potential residents to directly assess the current state of the property, observe the living environment, and speak with the on-site liaison to address any concerns.
In summary, Highway 16 Mobile Home & RV Community offers a conveniently located and potentially affordable option for Texans interested in mobile home or RV living in the Poteet area. Its direct access to a major highway, proximity to San Antonio, and focus on providing country living benefits are attractive features. Highway 16 Mobile Home & RV Community Reviews
The mobile park is not in the best condition. The streets are not paved properly so I can imagine the mud when it rains. Some of the homes have an excessive amount of bulk trash all around them. Only good thing is the convenience store next door and right off hwy 16..
Mar 15, 2022 · Daniel PerezNot a good place to live unless you like drugs and liars and thieves. The list goes on and on. But I'm not going to put everything down. Unless someone wants personal information about it. Just not a good place. They say they will fix problems with house but sometimes it takes awhile or sometimes not at all. You have to watch your back because some people will stab you in the back and will not blink an eye about it
Dec 07, 2017 · Tim SmithThis area is quite a small community people pretty much keep to themselves and most of the mobile homes are single wides there seem to be some that are available for sale or rent I guess all in all if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle this place is definitely the place to be at.
Apr 03, 2022 · Fred FloresThis place is paradise! At night time its quiet and peacefull. Very tranquil. I love living here! Pay your rent on time and you ll have an easy life here. This place is a Goldmine. You can buy or rent. Your choice. This is a great opportu ity for anyone trying to better themselves and save alot of money in the long run. Takes 30 minutes to get to downtown san antonio. No gunshots at night no drugs no weirdos hanging around. Very safe and amazing place to raise a family. The problem is people need to instal a fence around thire home then youll be having more privacy than queen elizabeth at buckingham palace. This place is the best in the southwest! Been living here 3 years now. Ill never go back to san antonio. Poteet is the best place on earth.
