Highland Park Mobile Home Community is described as an "All-Ages Community" located in Greenville, North Carolina. This indicates it's designed to accommodate a diverse resident base, from individuals and young families to retirees. Operated by SG Communities, it aims to provide manufactured housing options in a community setting. The community is positioned to balance the friendly, welcoming atmosphere typical of front-porch living with the dynamic environment of a metropolitan university town like Greenville. It offers a variety of different sized lots designed to fit diverse family needs, often coming with a private yard and driveway. This structure is typical of many manufactured home communities, offering lot rentals where residents own their homes but lease the land beneath them. Highland Park's presence in Greenville suggests it seeks to offer an affordable housing solution within a vibrant North Carolina city.
While a positive review highlights the presence of a "great landlord," it's important to consider all public feedback. Some community aspects, such as street congestion due to parked commercial vehicles and trailers, and concerns about general upkeep and evening disturbances, have been raised in online reviews. It is crucial for prospective residents to visit the community in person to assess these elements firsthand and discuss any concerns with management. Like any community, Highland Park will have its own unique character and rules, which are important for residents to understand and adhere to for a harmonious living environment.
Highland Park Mobile Home Community is located at 1560 Portertown Rd, Greenville, NC 27858, USA. This address places it within the city limits of Greenville, a major hub in Eastern North Carolina. Greenville is known for being a vibrant university town, home to East Carolina University, offering a blend of educational opportunities, healthcare facilities (including Vidant Medical Center), cultural attractions, and a growing job market.
The accessibility of Highland Park is generally good due to its location within Greenville. Portertown Road connects to various other main arteries, making it relatively easy to navigate to and from different parts of the city. For residents, this means convenient access to grocery stores, shopping centers, dining options, and local services. Public transportation options in Greenville may also serve the area, though specific routes would need to be verified with the local transit authority. However, one public review points to significant congestion, particularly on "Rocket Road" within the park, due to large commercial trucks and trailers parked on both sides of the streets. This suggests that while external access to the city is convenient, internal park navigation and parking can be challenging at times, potentially impacting ease of movement within the community itself. Prospective residents should consider these internal conditions during a visit.

Highland Park Mobile Home Community Reviews
Went to visit and could not get through the streets without fear being hit head on by another vehicle. The streets are two way but on all the streets there were box trucks parked on both sides of the street. If a car had backed out of their driveway they would have backed into me coming down the street because they couldn't see around the big commercial trucks and trailers.Use to be nice know cars are parked in the yards on the grass. These commercial work trucks and long work trailers should not be allowed. Trashy looking park after dark. Parties up and down the streets in the mobile home park. People drunk walking down the streets. The most congestion is on Rocket Road. Other parking problems throughout.
