Hidden Valley RV Park Introduce
For many Oklahomans who embrace the full-time RV lifestyle or are seeking a long-term, affordable solution for their mobile homes and RVs, finding a suitable park is key. Hidden Valley RV Park, located in Porter, OK, has primarily evolved into a community that caters to long-term and permanent residents. While it may not fit the traditional mold of a short-term vacation campground, it serves a specific and important need for a segment of the RV community in Oklahoma.
It's essential for prospective residents to understand the nature of such a park. Hidden Valley RV Park is often described as a place where many units are set up for extended, even indefinite, stays. This creates a unique atmosphere, distinct from transient campgrounds. For those seeking a more permanent base in their RV or manufactured home, especially on a budget, this park might present a viable option. However, it's crucial to align your expectations with the realities of a park largely occupied by full-time residents, often doing their best to make a home in their RVs.
Hidden Valley RV Park is situated at 6388 US-69, Porter, OK 74454, USA. Its location directly on US-69 offers straightforward accessibility for residents and visitors alike, connecting it easily to nearby towns and cities. Porter itself is a small community in Wagoner County, offering a quieter, more rural setting compared to bustling urban centers.
For Oklahoma locals, this position on a major highway is convenient for those needing to commute for work or access services in larger towns such as Muskogee or Wagoner. While the park itself might primarily serve as a home base, its proximity to US-69 ensures that essential supplies, local amenities, and emergency services are within reasonable reach. This direct road access simplifies arrivals and departures, especially for larger RVs, making it a practical choice for individuals and families looking for a long-term RV living solution in the region. The rural setting can also appeal to those who prefer a less urbanized environment, offering a sense of quietude that is often sought by long-term residents.
Given its focus on long-term and full-time residents, Hidden Valley RV Park likely offers the fundamental services essential for a stable RV living experience. While specific detailed amenities are not extensively highlighted in readily available public reviews for this particular park, common expectations for long-term RV communities include:
Full Hookup Sites: Typically, RV parks catering to long-term residents provide full hookups, meaning each site would generally offer connections for electric (likely 30 and 50 amp service), water, and sewer. This is crucial for the convenience and functionality of an RV as a permanent residence.
Long-Term and Monthly Rates: As a full-timer park, Hidden Valley RV Park would primarily offer competitive monthly or seasonal rates, providing a more economical option compared to nightly or weekly stays, which is a key factor for permanent residents managing their budgets.
Utility Management: For long-term stays, utilities might be included in the monthly rent or billed separately, depending on the park's policy. The availability of consistent and reliable utility services is paramount for full-time RVers.
Waste Disposal: Proper waste disposal methods, including trash receptacles or dumpsters, would be provided for residents.
It's important for prospective residents to directly contact the park for precise details on current services, utility arrangements, and any specific policies regarding long-term residency.
While a park primarily catering to long-term residents might have different "highlights" than a vacation resort, certain aspects are still important for locals considering Hidden Valley RV Park as a home base. Based on the nature of such communities and limited public information, potential features may include:
Affordable Living: The park is likely a more budget-friendly option for long-term RV or mobile home living in the Oklahoma area, which is a significant draw for those on fixed incomes or seeking economical housing solutions.
Community of Full-Timers: For individuals and families who live full-time in their RVs, being in a park with similar residents can foster a sense of community and understanding. This environment allows for shared experiences and mutual support among those embracing the RV lifestyle.
Proximity to US-69: The direct access to a major highway is a functional highlight, ensuring ease of travel for work, errands, or visiting family elsewhere in Oklahoma.
Accessibility for All Units: While not explicitly stated, the design of a full-timer park usually accommodates a variety of RV sizes, including larger rigs that are less frequently moved.
It is important to note that some reviews mention aspects like maintenance, cleanliness, and unrestrained pets as areas that have been a concern for previous short-term visitors. Prospective long-term residents should conduct a thorough on-site visit to personally assess the current conditions and speak with existing residents to gain a comprehensive understanding of daily life within the park. This due diligence is crucial to ensure the park meets individual expectations for long-term living.

Hidden Valley RV Park Reviews
DON'T DO IT, we've been RV'ing for over 20 yrs, and have never seen a park this filthy & poorly maintained! We were unaware it is a Full-timers park, full of units that will never be able to be moved. Probably a lot of folks doing the best they can. But what was unacceptable was the amount of trash littered throughout the park. There are loose and unrestrained dogs & cats running everywhere that no one is cleaning up after. There are a number of sites with makeshift outdoor dog kennels with very noisy dogs . It's hard to walk anywhere without stepping in dog crap! We've never seen such a display of "Don't Give-a-Shit" ownership! Pictures on their listing are from years ago. These are current
