Hidden Springs Reviews
Love how the new owners and new management have been enhancing the property. We have lived here for 9 years, we have a beautiful home that is located at the 2nd hole T off on this public golf course. Lots to do here. Tennis, large library, pool tables, ping pong, wet/dry coed sauna, large pool with 2 Jacuzzis, one covered. Indoor and outdoor showers. Large clubhouse with many functions going on. Pickle balls courts, bocce ball. The list goes on and on. We love it here and only a short drive to the Heart of Palm Springs.

Dec 06, 2024 · Chris 77246Hidden Springs has been my home for the last two years. It's a very nice, quiet community that is well managed. The pools are very nice, and kept clean and in good working order. There are two hot pools and one large cool pool. There are two dog parks and a golf course. All in all, I would highly recommend this quiet, clean, gated mobile home community.
Oct 21, 2022 · Barbara HymanWe're celebrating 26 years in the park, and have enjoyed being there. Generally the park management has had its ups and downs, but it has been very good for about the last 10 years. Management is helpful, people are friendly, park maintenance has been really good for about the last 7 years. My wife is an avid golfer and loves playing with both the men as well as the women golfers. We think it is a great place to spend the winter.
Oct 21, 2022 · Dick AndersonFirst: A very big positive shout out to the incredible non-management staff who clean the gym areas and workers both inside and out. You are all amazing! Thank you.Second: Some of the 5 star reviews here are from staff, or now, ex-staff so take that into account. Now the review: I was really looking forward to living here. I've always loved the view, I still do but...The list is long starting with no notice on the water outages as mentioned by another. I've paid twice to fix damage caused by improperly turning water back on. Even more importantly, at least for me is, if you're considering moving here make sure to visit at night. The light situation is a problem for a lot of us. I have neighbors who haven't turned off their lights outside for 3 years. A row of houses light up their patios every.single.night. It like living on a circus midway. Security cameras are worthless at night, so they're back in the box due to light pollution.New(ish) neighbor now has a dog that is left outside every day. There are lots of really great dogs here, this is the only one that cries, etc. all day. Now I have to file a nuisance complaint tomorrow. That really should not be my job. There's a wattage limit (60) on outdoor lighting but no limit on lumens. So plan on hearing, "oh, it's not using more than 60 watts" which is true but the lumens are 1000 watts worth (whatever). The neighbor (w/dog) has been asked by neighbors to turn off the porch light. It has the same lumens as the maintenance yard. It's been on 24 hrs a day for a year. Despite being asked nicely, it's still on. I should not have to close my drapes every single night when I sit at my desk because of your lights ACROSS A FAIRWAY! That's some serious entitlement there.Plan on some who go away for the summer & they too leave their outdoor lights on 24 hours a day with zero consideration for others. Buy a few indoor timers @ Harbor for $3 ea. instead. The day I took possession I paid 6 moths ahead, spent $25,000 before I even moved in on repairs, etc. New floors, etc. after, I've been nothing but a great owner. Never a day late in any monies due. Management has not been great or even helpful, for example...We had gas repair recently, it was off all day. Great, they fixed something. When repair guys came to relight pilot they didn't know how. Kept pushing the pilot button, shaking and pulling pipes, etc. I finally said, stop, I'll light it. And I did, they went and lit the water heater outside and left. After I lit mine I could smell gas so I turned it off and went to the foreman. He sent a guy who said, "yup, it's a small leak, those guys are new and unfamiliar with these. I'll fix it, it's a 5 to 10 minute job. I just need to have the manager approve it. I'll be right back." Everyone @ Pacific Utilities was nice. Now, before I continue further I absolutely knew there was no leak before because I had it inspected less than a year ago with a/c repair...oh, and I can smell.Management did not approve the 5 minute (or so) repair. Imagine that. That is only one example, I have more which are much, much worse. Criminal. I have been kind in this review. You should have seen the first one. I left out a lot of bad behavior by people who should know better. Would I buy here again? No. The potential is there, my view is spectacular, but while the rent increases yearly the value for resident homeowners does not. It'd be easy and cost effective to improve value but that doesn't seem to be a priority for this company.Fixing the water pipes is maintenance not an improvement. The gym is less useful than it looks. My weeds all come from the course, I only have cactus but I pay to clean up after the course. Lots of small unnecessary irritations.Feel free to email me for more information. I have been truthful about this park. If you love golf perhaps you're more tolerant than I...There's plenty of nice people I'm told. I know a few but there's a lot of thoughtlessness that pervades Hidden Springs. Some residents feel they own more than others is a polite way to say it.
